Scion of Lake City (Seattle) and Scion of Gladstone (AKA Happyrock in Portland) are teaming up to bring you what we hope will be some fun events.

We are planning a meet at each dealership, which will feature food, refreshments, entertainment and RC Car Races!!

Each participant will receive a free RC car, and we will have courses set up. The winners from each meet will win FABULOUS prizes, and then we will plan a joint meet where the winners from the two previous meets will race for a GRAND PRIZE!!

Prizes are still being worked out, but one of the sponsors is known for great prizes (just ask Kekai). We have support from the Region, from Scionlife (thanks Darren), from both of our stores and from some sponsors.

Now all we need is YOU!! The Gladstone meet is set for May 7th. Any input you guys have is really helpful. This is meant to be fun for you, and we want to make it everything you want it to be!! So let us know. If there are prizes that you think would be awesome, tell us. I have already heard a supercharger (might be a tad spendy without a sponsor, but we will see), so let us know what you would like to see... Stereo systems? Nav systems? B Pillar Appliques?

I had a fun, top secret idea for this event, so I hope you guys can make it!

Once we pick a date, and it gets closer, I will share my idea, but I think it could be tons o fun!

My suggestion would be that we pick a Sunday afternoon for this meet. It would help if it is during daylight hours, as we are going to have to take over a big chunk of our parking lot for the "super duper main event" portion of the meet...

 

top secret idea...how about the person who lives closest to Scion of Gladstone gets a prize!!!

 

Actually, everybody will get a prize, and some will get HUGE prizes!! How's that sound??

And, we could probably come up with some creative ones, like who drove the farthest, who has the most miles, who lives the closest...

I bought my toaster from Gladstone a few weeks ago!!

 

im pretty sure the prize for least amount of miles to get there, should simply be a S/C...not install...just the S/C its self :-p wow am i in lala land or what?

 

I love Gladstone. They have a Du's Grill. Best teriyake on earth.

As for the HUGE prizes, if I elaborate, I will give away the surprise! Like I said, everybody will get something, but there will be a type of contest, and the winners will get big prizes. I am also working on a follow up, where winners from our meet will go against winners from another, similar meet for EVEN BIGGER prizes!!

So, give me a Sunday that will work...any suggestions??

Let's just try to avoid the 14th of May. I will be in Seattle for Global Imports in Tacoma on the 13th, and I don't think I will be back in time to set this up the next day...

i like where your going with all of this kelly. It sounds like it could be a good idea. As for sunday dates...any sunday works for me. just start throwing out dates and people will give yes/no's and im sure tim (wedrivescions) will be more than happy to make a list when we have a specific date!
