I've put the request in for the event on the 20th at Lake City. Should be able to make it no prob. Worst case scenario I'll be WAAAAY overdressed if I have to come from work and I'd only have to leave about an hour early.

Gotta love my work... Free car wash.

Honey0Bucket and I came up with a new idea for a prize category... best modified chub city r/c car... (For all those who raced today)

Rules...

You must have been in attendance today
It must be the ChubCity xB
It must appear to be an xB... (IE, no naked "Chassis only", no body changes)
It must still be operational.
Paint/stickers/wheels/vehicle matching... it's all good!!!!

I was telling my wife that you guys were racing rc xb's and she said "that's pretty sad that a toy is faster than a real car"

 

Just remember that according to dumblaws.com or stupidlaws.com in most states it's acceptable to beat your wife as long as it's with something smaller around than your thumb.

This event was insane.... I had a gREAT time and look forward to Lake City in just two short weeks.

Its always amusign to see 20 or so perverbial 'grown ups' running after littel remote control cars blocking out everyone and trying hard to win a 10 meter dash.... Wife and I had a killer time.

 

I think it is unanimous.....we all had a great time and I don't think CHuck Norris himself could have put on a better frist time event...... ;)

I had a great time.. I doubt I make the next one (school and all)... BUT Kelly, you did a fantastic job with everything. And I'd like to announce to everyone if the didn't know, The grand prize for the R/C race came right outta her pocket.

Yeah, but the naked chassis is not a cool mod....just functional. It took first so something must have worked.......

 

question how long does thisevent last? i may have to go back to work
