Lucky me, I totally suck at parallel parking.
So last night I went to downtown Seattle and while parallel parking I've managed to back up my stock rim on my 3 week old tC....Never have I curbed a rim before up until last night.

Try this thread. You may check locally also. take the car to the shop and ask if the dings are too deep to be covered by powder. I had a paintball marker that someone had etched their name into and the powder covered it completely. So there is hope. Plus it's like a new set of rims without the new rim money.

Hehe.. we have some yellow paint and scratches on the xA. And no, I don't make a habit of parking in places I shouldn't! The curbs in our neighborhood used to be painted yellow because they didn't allow parking there.. but now people have multiple cars (even 3-4) so parking on the curb is necessary.. so at least they've got a little color to them? ;)

Probably end up looking for a new rim.
Spoke to Tim Foster (yes brother of the owner of Foster's) with Dependable Wheels in downtown Renton. Since the coat is painted on and not available in the US it will never look the same. He quoted me $105 plus dismount of the tire (another $
.
Obviously I believe that I can probably get a new one for that price.

Sorry about the rim. I’ve had my tC about a month, it is a lot longer than the xB I had, defiantly takes some getting use to. On my Honda the tires I had stuck out over the rim so it protected it from getting jacked up. I still managed to bend, ah and crack the rim darn pot holes and road construction in Federal Way. I spent money to try and fix the rim, spent about 400 and its still messed up, but the wheels are discontinued.
I would get a new one, best way to go.
