Default Lynnwood toyota dealership Prices!!!!!

So i called the dealership this morning cause i have been meaning to install these "tein s-tech" springs for about a month now and just don't have the time to do it. Well, it looks like i have no choice but, to find the time, because what they quoted me was freakin rediculous! OK, get this, just to install the springs, they told me $650.00.... that's not counting the $80 dollar alignment that they would have to do also.... Did i mention that they are my own springs? Jesus! I may be over reacting but this sounds like their smokin crack! I know what i'm doing this weekend.... Gonna make the first Tein S-tech DIY.... anyone live around Oak Harbor? I might need a helping hand....

wow, that seems high. I can't believe there isn't a how-to in the tech section, just checked. Hopefully someone up there that has done their springs can give you a hand. Also, wait on the alignment for a month to make sure they have settled in, good luck.

Actually most shops charge between $350 - $500 to install springs, $650 is out there but it is only $150 more ridiculous than what other shops charge .

For alignments Firestone will do a lifetime alignment for $150 so you can go back every week if you want and it will be free.

Burien Toyota wanted 600.00 when i called to get a quote for mine, they said it was like 6 hours labor. We ended up doing 2 XB's in under 3 hours combined! I know a TC will take a little longer than a XB though, but that's ridiculous.

I'd say do it yourself, offer a buddy some pizza and beer to help, you definately need another set of hands for some of it. it's not that difficult, and you'll feel good knowing you did it yourself, and saved some cash you can put into something else. If I was closer, I'd offer to help.

why would you ever go to a dealer to get springs installed? theres a bunch of shops that will do it far cheaper. got my springs AND shocks installed for $300

Not sure but I think the Stechs need a camber kit to be able to get them to be aligned. My htechs are right on the verge of needing one......the tech let me watch and he showed me where there was no more adjustment on the rear without a camber kit.I made it to the boderline mark so i am happy as it had to be no higher than 13.3 and i was at13.3 on the camber........Brian

check out 8 Velocity they are basically across the street from Magic, next door to our shop and talk to Tommy. Their prices are very reasonable, and good service.

Erick G did mine as well and very quickly, you do not need a camber kit with the S techs unless you want one, I have S techs and there is realy no noticable camber,
