I'm not sure at this point in time. The various teams need to get together and come up with a comprehensive M&G schedule for the year.
You can bring your kids to the M&G at Carl's Jr.!
And also guys...I tried to make a reservation for Chopsticks but they don't take 'em after 7 pm and instead at that time its first come, first served.

No, because for some reason there seems to be a major reluctance on the part of some club principals to lay down a firm schedule for the new year. (At least that's what it looks like from here. I'd be VERY pleased to be shown wrong on that.)
Last time I looked, Tacoma still showed a second Friday meet every month, but I would NOT be surprised if I showed up and was the only Scion in the parking lot again. Happened before, probably will happen again - and I'm not even a member of any of the clubs.
See you people tonight!

here's a thought, if you guys dont like it, change it! Everyone is welcome to host a meet and greet. We'll still be hosting a meet and greet on th second Friday of the month, we jsut wanted to get together tonight and share some excitement for the coming year.
As the Rep for SE, I'll state it now... that I move for all M&Gs to be general owners M&Gs... not to be hosted/sponsored by one club or the other...
yes going back ol'skool to the days where some1 posted up a date/time and people showed up to show up, not to go to a recruiting campaign..
both current/known clubs in our area now have established individual sites and forums for members & people interested in either to get information, and there is always the "PM" button to get their attention here.
Back to M&G's, all Club/Team business to be done before or after the M&G(s) and possibly at a separate location as to not roll over into a general gathering of Scion owners
only exception to the that, being the announcement of upcoming events.
*steps of soap box and puts on flame resistant suit*
** also still car-less.. not gonna make it tonight

Does that mean that Second Friday M&Gs are not any particular club's M&G, but still Open To All gatherings with spexcial announcements of events and such by anyone who wants to make an announcement?
If that's the case, and if the major clubs have no objection to maintaining a Second Friday schedule, I'm absolutely all for Second Fridays!
Sounds like 'ownership' of Second Friday Meet and Greets devolves to the Scion Community-as-a-Whole. :D Excellent!
Now it's up to ALL of us to keep it up and show up at Second Fridays.
For right now, it's time for me to wander off in the direction of tonight's gathering. See ya!

Hmmmmm...
I'm amazed that no one has posted up any comments on last nights M&G or After Party.
IIRC the M&G ended up with 10 folks showing, and we hung around Carl's Jr. until around 9PM, when it was decided by the few moving on to an After Party to retire to Doyle's Public House at 2nd and St. Helens (across from the Temple Theater), rather than Chopstix.
Those of us who went to Doyle's had excellent food and fine company in pleasant surroundings - we finally left somewhere between 12 and 12:30.
(Thanks for introducing me to a good pub - I will definitely have to return. The corned beef on rye with apple/onion relish and horseradish mayo is more than good enough for a return visit!)
Hope the After Party folks have a good time in Portland today!

just saw it .. liked it.. to the one or two m&g's that ive been able to make it its all about having fun and seeing new people and cars and catching up with older friends and thats how it should be..just everyone meet up and have fun.
i think as for the whole clubs thing seperate locations on non-M&g's would be better because if they are at a place its just going to detour newbies from showing up.. just my 2 cents..again.
Nice homer quote Rob!! Had a great time at the M&G! Great to see everyone out there!!
And yes.. I was again smitten by the Chicken Chipotle Salad.. it's like a party in your mouth
