Default Memorial Drive on the West Seattle Bridge - July 2nd

Hello,

Is anyone up for taking a memorial drive up to West Seattle and back across the bridge in memory of those that lost their life last Thursday?

A few of us figured it would be good to hold this after the All Toyota Festival while so many people are in town.

If others are interested, please let me know!

CoreyAnn

The Scion Driven Girls are still on board with this and we are going to hand out black bands (to those with antennas) at the Toyota Fest.

Here is our current list of drivers:

1. CoreyAnn (xB)
2. Mo (xB)
3. Benilda (xA)
4. Raine (tC)
5. Raine's boyfriend (xB) - if he can get out of work
6. ...

Is anyone else interested in joining up?

I agree with Dustin on this one, its going to be a long day for us boys down south, so I will be playing it by ear, but getting up at 5am and driving 3hrs then turn around and drive back will be a long haul, Hope you get some other locals to drive with you girls.

I hope that there are people interested in this. It would be a great show of force for the Scion community and the news would probably pick it up. If we get enough people involved I'll send out press releases.

Im interested of course but I have a Toyota but I think this is a great cause and wont take much time. One way across then turn around and head eastbound (the direction in which the accident was) then at the end people can depart to whatever way they need to go home.

Natalie, you are so right! For those heading back to I-5...it's only a 20-30 min loop and then back onto I-5. And I hope that you do come...Scion or not we need to show that this incident touched us!!!

A press release is going to go out tomorrow talking about the generic Scion community and how we are going to do a memorial drive. I hope that we can get people willing to make the drive because I think that it would make a super news item.

4. Raine (tC)
5. Raine's boyfriend (xB) - if he can get out of work

I also have a long haul back to the farm after the Fest.. We'll see how I'm feeling. It doesn't sound like much of an out of the way trip to do this.. So you can put me as tentative... Coffeeeeeeeeeeee provided, I will probably make the bridge journey
