Default Moving On...UPDATE: BBQ AT 7 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!

So in the last bit of our family news update...Mo, Bronwyn, Kayla, & I are moving. We are doing the final pack up & move on the 17th-19th.

Since it took me almost 2 hours just to upload the baby & car pics to photobucket, I'm just going to give you a link to the photos of our new home:

http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/32.../80261058_zpid

We are going to have an "unpacking" housewarming & BBQ on Saturday, October 18th. We are getting going early with unpacking the UHAUL around 10 am and the BBQ/hanging out starting around 1 pm. Please feel free to come out and see the new place and join us as we start off on a new adventure of home ownership. Free food, drink, & fun will be included (hey...anyone for Wii???).

We're not buying the house...it belongs to a friend of ours who is living down in California. In order to gain more space and be closer to Mo's work we're going to maintain and house-sit the place for the next couple of years because with this market he'd never be able to sell it for that price.

It has some great pluses that we want:
2 car garage with storage
4 car driveway pad
Cul-de-sac
Huge pantry (the size of a small bedroom)
Huge backyard

It is also missing some things:
Landscaping - it never had a back yard put in
Deck - needs a real deck space for entertaining
Fencing - a must for an active baby
Neighborhood - it doesn't seem as close-knit as Lakeland and I'm going to miss all my other mommy friends (thus, I'm probably going to keep driving across the valley)
Walking - there are no stores/coffee/groceries within walking distance so everything is a car trip

It also has some weird things:
2 staircases - wth?
2 master bedrooms
Oddly cut up lofts & open spaces upstairs

The good thing is that it is 5 bedrooms which is the kind of space we've always needed...1 for us, 1 for Kayla, 1 for baby, 1 for crafts/office, and 1 for junk to be gone through. Unfortunately we don't have a ton of furniture so it may look odd in the beginning.

People don't have to come out to help work as Mo & I will have most of it done in the morning...just come for the food, fun & to say hi!!!

Okay gang...

Mo & I have been crazy packing all week and the UHAUL place said that, with all the local foreclosures lately, we are only able to get a truck from 7:30 am Friday to 7:30 am Saturday.

So Mo & I are going to load the truck and unload it over night on Friday. The 'unpacking' party part will be if people want to help us get some of our furniture upstairs. Other than that, most of the work will be done before anyone even arrives.

Also, if you happen to be available on Friday and want to help out...feel free to let us know as we're gathering peeps to help load the truck then.

THANKS to everyone who's planning to come out and visit!!! I'll have a great food spread & refreshments as well as entertainment (games, movies, music, tv, etc).

Boy...I can't wait to move...AGAIN!!!

But I PROMISE this will be the last move for years to come as we settle down for a while.

I was hoping to get a truck Friday – Sunday and just do stuff in stages, but with all the foreclosures going on the U-haul guy said Friday was the only day available for the big truck. I am taking part of the day off, and we have some help already lined up for packing, but we will need help unloading on Saturday, our current plan is to empty the truck in the garage, and living area and get help moving stuff upstairs…. I hate stairs grr.
