Default Multi-forum meet 9-9-06 pictures

I showed up at 7:05, and the lot was already packed with S2000s, Lancer Evos, Mustangs, Integras, and other cars all already lined up in neat rows. Sadly, I could only locate 4 tCs and 2 xBs when I got there (never did find the owners), but Eric, Heather (Camie), and Kekai eventually arrived.

Pictures below. Sorry about the quality, I had a brain fart and shot everything in automatic mode.

Mine on the left, and 3 others (one is in the back row) of unknown ownership.

Kekai and Eric

Attempted SE group photo

Mystery solved! I've been wondering who had the vanity TRD plates

...Mercury Cougar... (WA plate 8AHONDA)

Oh yeah...did I mention the cops were already there? I counted 4-5 WSP vehicles and 2 Issaquah PD.

This trooper was photographing everyone's license plate and issuing tickets to those that didn't have front plates. (Video below)

Pulled over! A black CRX and another blue car got owned as they tried leaving the parking lot. No information as to why. (Video below)

Videos in a few, but they suck too.

Nah, it's more fun when they don't have prior knowledge (and additional units waiting!) of hundreds of potential revenue-generators coming to town.

Wow--if they took a picture of your license plate you will no doubt be in their data bank. That is not a particularly good thing. When they do that here they are looking for street racers and really hassle you.

I know why that crx and the SI was stopped. But I don't know how far it is going yet, so I'm not going to say anything.

I didn't even see you guys! We (s2k group) got there a little before 7 and there was no one there. Then within 20 minutes the whole parking lot was full. It was crazy.

we pulled in about 715ish or so.... after a few turns to check out issaquah... then we cruised up a couple rows looking for parking... then parked near in the key bank lot behind 3day blinds.... no one was there and figured it would be safer if we were away from the rest....

i dont think they took pic's of our small group

tho eric did rush over to toss his plate onto his dash

Perhaps the license plate photography was somehow related to this?

KENT, Wash. - Kent police arrested two people early Sunday after there were a number of robberies in the north end associated with street racers.

Police say a group of about 20 suspects in approximately four separate vehicles would confront race spectators, assault them with their fists and in some cases weapons, and steal their personal property.

Two of the victims were hospitalized.

After the second robbery, police maintained a presence in the area and were able to respond within seconds of a third robbery at a Chevron gas station at 180th and East Valley Highway.

The two arrested people were detained at a Jack-in-the-Box fast-food restaurant and identified by witnesses. Police say numerous pieces of stolen property were found on the suspects and inside the vehicle.

The robberies occurred in Kent and Renton.

Is this an organized event, or just a local cool place for rides to meet?

needless to say.. that number got blown away.... guess its just down the road from XXX rootbeer (toyota fest location)

I think the race spectating relates to Pacific Raceways otherwise I think it may have said ILLEGAL STREET RACES.

But the arrests related to that article were made at the "street race meet up spot" and no where near my meet so they are not connected what-so-ever.

i however do know that the arrest at the meet had nothing to do with this!
