Default my family needs your help

this is a bit out of character for me and i have been fighting the idea to throw my self out there like this all day but here it goes...

A few of you know the situation with my mom and even fewer know the current situation.

On december 3rd mom was sent to the ER with a very high temperature and some
trouble breathing.that night they found her white blood cell count to be almost too low to measure, her blood pressure was critically low, there was an unknown blood infection from one of her multiple surgerys and she had Pneumonia. after loading her with drugs and fluids and with the help of a blood pressure machine they were able to get her stabilized. she stayed in the ICU for about a week before being moved to her "normal" room on the cancer floor. during her stay in the ICU they found her cancer to be active again and concentrated in her hip and spine. this has caused her bones to become so week that her muscles are literally pulling chunks of her hip off.

While she is stable now and on a track to getting over this hump in our journey she will be confined to a bed or wheel chair for a very long time and we still are not sure when she will be home from the hospital. the doctors are doing everything they can to get her home by christmas.

Then, sunday night my grand father fell in his drive way and broke his pelvis. He was rushed to the ER and they found that not only had he broke his pelvis he had an irregularity in his heart. They did an EKG and found that due to an undetected past heart attack the left side of his heart is 90% destroyed and the right side 20%. They are trying to find out what their next step is going to be but due to a heart attack he had last night at the hospital, it is looking far from good.

I guess one possitive is that they are in the same hospital, so it is easy to visit them.

I guess the reason for saying all this is to ask you guys for your thoughts, prayers, hopes, wishes, crossed fingers, whatever we can get to help us through this holiday season and to hopefully allow my mother and grand father to make a complete recovery.

Thank you for taking the time to read this
Chris

hey Chris.........I am not a Godly man........but I will pray for you and your family with all my heart that your days may take a better path through the holidays.

Just so you know........I am pretty sure God wants us to ask for help without feeling odd about it........it shows we are human.Sometimes the life we view in our own eyes is not very good but these are important paths that are preparing us for the many unknown to us paths we are yet to journey.

Feel free to call anytime or come down and hang out buddy.....
