Default New Fogs dont fit?!

hey guys i need a little tech help from anyone who happens to have a set of the oem fogs that fit into our little cut outs on the bumper of the tC. i just picked up a set online and went to install them the other day and they don't fit due to my oem lip kit. so i guess what i'm curious about is if anyone else has had this issue and how did you resolve it? i am figuring there will be lip kit cuttage involved but how drastic did it end up being and if available, any pics would help a lot too. just wanted to find out from you guys before i start hacking away.

thanks

idk where i heard about this but i have heard before that this is an issue for people with lip kits. do you have the OEM fogs that go in the center gap or the APT style fogs that go on the outer corner?

depending on what lip kit you have, i found a guy with the same kind of issue on the Clubsciontc forum

Its been covered plenty of times and can be found by searching.
Trim the lip kit till the lights fit.
