Well, not literally. I'm not going to be posting half naked pictures or anything so I suppose you're not literally going to be seeing a lot of me. But you will be seeing me around the forum.

I'm just recently back into the Toyota world. Been a jeepforum.com guy for the last few years.. I love modifying vehicles and am absolutely stoked about the FR-S I'm going to be getting as soon as humanly possible. It'll be Toyota product #20 on the nose that I've owned in my 20 years of driving (driving legally anyways). I've owned one of the fastest stock Toyota built vehicles and one of the slowest. Loved them all.

Going to start up a build thread and detail the mods. Going to try to get one of the first ones in the area and the first mods will be suspension, wheels and tires, and custom intake and exhaust. I had my Jeep pretty heavily modified within 30 days of driving it off the lot brand new and the FR-S will get the same attention, assuming I can build or buy the parts so early in the model's production.

Not having modded a car in forever, I'm sure I'll be bugging y'all for ideas and input. I've peeked around a bit and it looks like a good group here. Glad to be part of the site.

Thanks!

Brian

Yep. I've already got a guy lined up to do a custom intake and exhaust, sent emails about superchargers, etc. I have issues. Thanks for the welcome guys.

HAHAHAHA Issues.... yup. That's very true. We've all got em around here. Welcome Brian, excited to have you with us, and even more excited to see what you have in store! If you ever need anyone to test drive your car for you, I am sure we all would be willing to volunteer! ;)

Default Thanks!

Thanks again for all the welcomes! I know I'm jumping the gun a bit by being here months early, but I'm starting to dig around a bit and get a feel for the brand.

In case there are any folks here who like Jeeps in addition to Scions, here's a before and after of my last build:

I don't think the FR-S transformation will be quite that extreme, but I guarantee it will be more fun on a windy road...

...and before someone asks if it's ever seen anything other than pavement...

Thanks! I'm not exactly sure on the amount. I went overboard on a few things and ended up redoing a few other things (for example, 35" tires, then 37s, then 40s) so more than it should have been. I plan on keeping it forever though so I built it just how I wanted it. It's a gutless pig, gets miserable fuel mileage and it drives like a Sherman tank but it's awesome on a sunny day or for climbing up the side of a mountain. That mud in the last pic sucked though. Took me days to get it out of all the nooks and crannies.
