I just got a ticket yesterday for $124 for no front plate. I was not speeding. That's all he pulled me over for too. Do you think I will win in court if I appeal?

^Sux dood! Do you have holes in your front bumper for the plate already? If not take pics in when you contest it and say that the dealer never put it on for you/ gave you holes to put it on. Tell them you have the plate and have since put it in your front window ( in an effort to put it on the front of your vehicle), but that you are concerned about drilling holes i your bumper and ask them if you should take it back to the dealership to do it.

or

Mitigate it, bring in pics of the bumper w/out holes, then put the front plate on and tell them you fixed it and see if they will lower the fine down.

wont sign it! I think that theres a good reason to have license plates on it. Think of it this way

Amber alert goes out that a child is abducted. Youre at a 4 way stop and see the car that was mentioned across from you but you dont think anything of it cuz you dont see the license plate and just think to yourself (theres no way thats the car) but if they would have had the front plate then you could have called it in.

I dont rock a plate but am fully aware that I may get a ticket for it and will put it back on the day I get the ticket for it.
