Do we want a press release from the Scion angle or for the entire event's participants?

A few emails have been made to local news stations also. If we all send one to all the news stations it couldnt hurt.

Also trying to deal with KUBE.

pulling over on the freeway with a huge line of cars has trouble written ALL over it. i mean 100 cars for example to all pull over and then get BACK into traffic without causing a wreck...i think the best bet is just block the lights and go for it.

what does everyone else think??

Dustin - you had a boxy car..now you have an ish car hahah

Personally, SE and hopefully the rest of the Scion community stands for safe and sane driving uless its under controlled conditions. I know my SE crew will wait for red lights if we have to and just catch up later.

Its not a personal thing, we just want to set an example and show the community we are not just a bunch of 'do as we please ricers'

I think pulling into the weigh station should be just fine. I do have my wife asking the police officers that eat regularly at Primo to see if they have any sugestions!

COME ON CREW< LETS OWN THIS RUN!!!

Tah-dah!!!!

I just got PERMITS issues from the Northwest Region and the Olympia Region from the Dept. of Transportation for a PARADE route which will give us Washington State Patrol traffic enforcement at the lights!!!!!

No need to worry about the truck scales or anything as the police will stop the lights for us as we go through them to get onto I-5 and get off of I-5.

Also, we didn't need a permit for our actual trip down I-5 as we are going the speed limit (if we wanted to go slower the WSP would step in at that time). So we will have to keep together and possibly leave our flashers on if we want to identify other participants due to weaving traffic at on/off ramps.

Awesome. I'll probably have my amber lights wired up by then (I'm a security officer, remember?). It'll be nice to be able to show them off in public w/o having to tell people to get off my client's property.

I've done this the past two years so I can't miss this one. And I since I don't have my neon anymore, I'm strictly representing for the Scion community and not helping the SRT's. So count me in. I'm going to see if Nikki and maybe a couple girls from my work want to go too!
