if you choose to go look into hostels. cheapest way to travel around europe

 

if you are going for the tour...leave London well alone. Its a messy hole. Hit up Wales before anywhere. If you miss wales you are missing out on so much more than london has to offer.

And scotland is only 400 miles from London...would be a shame to miss that too

and if you are renting a car, dont forget that its almost $11 / gallon there in good ole england

Damn, it's up to $11 now? It kills me when I visit England and have to rent a car... spend more on gas than I do on the rental!

But a non-stopper from Seattle to London? Yikes, I hope the planes are roomy (and I hope they still offer unlimited, free booze).

 

I just flew from Portland to london, the seats sucked, the booze was not free($5) and the food(little of) sucked so bad.

Flying is just not as fun as it used to be. Not to mention the TSA(altho they are doing us a service im pretty sure they could do it much better)
