TOYS FOR TOTS

YEP. THATS RIGHT! SATURDAY DEC.13th 1:30pm AT 272ND PARK N RIDE. EXIT 147. GONNA DRIVE OVER TO PACIFIC RACEWAYS. DROP OFF TOYS AND ENJOY THE PEOPLE AND CARS.

LAST YEAR WAS AT THE EXTREME. OVER 400 CARS. LOTS OF FUN, AND LOTS OF TOYS. WANNA MAKE THIS EVENT SO LARGE WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE THE TACOMA DOME IN A FEW YEARS. LOOKS LIKE IT'S GETTING THERE SO LETS GET IT GOING!!!

This is going to be a BIG ONE. I want to see everybody there. I mean everybody. This is for the CHILDREN that are less fortunate. I don't care what you bring, a hot wheel or a stuffed animal. Just an unopened toy. This will show the community that all the cars are not street racing all the time. This will be an open forum event. I will post on other forums. YOU NEED TO BE AT THIS ONE!
LETS MAKE SOME KIDS HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS!

I remember my favorite xmas was when my mom made me a Xavier Roberts(the guy who made cabbage patch dolls)Tuxedo Teddy Bear. The bear is a little known item he did not do much marketing for and as such it fell to the waysides and ended up only available via pattern stores........she made me the entire bear and the tux for it.......I had it till I was 25 years old and my sons mom lost it........it was supposed to goto my son........perhpas some day I can sew one up for him........

Here is a copy of the pattern on Ebay........

Perhaps we southerners can get stuff together and someone will make the trip. I would REALLY like to do this either for this drive or one locally. It's a cause close to my heart for other reasons....so I would like to help....

I try to do this event every year and it has never disapointed! Last year I even got to find me new favorite buffet (we ended the run there) We actually filled almost the entire back of the tC with toys it was great!

Last year this event coincided with PDXmass, if it happens again I'll be making the trek to the south, otherwise I'm all in as usual.
