So as all of you know we had a rough couple months that came to a head when Sheila got lost and never came home. After a lot of thinking and looking and searching through our hearts we decided we still had way too much love to give to keep going on without a dog to play with.

So everybody meet Ruby Von Dorian Getty (Roo)








She is a toy Dachshund and she's chocolate and tan with long hair and pretty green eyes (the pictures really don't show just how adorable she is) her mommy was 9 pounds and she's the runt so who knows how small she'll be, right now she's about big enough to ride around in Eriks shoe.

 

Indeed, she is rather adorable. Train her well!

Sad that Sheila never returned. Hopefully some other family is caring for her.

Roo's a cutie. I grew up with dachshunds (my grandmother raised 'em, and I had a couple). Please keep in mind you have to train 'em well, and they are rock headed with definite opinions of their own. Stubborn little beasts.

Yep making the appointment to get her last set of puppy shots and getting her chipped this week


And then I'm never letting her out of my sight.

 

She's such a cutie! I love my dachshund to death. They're a unique bread with their own unique personalities and quirks and I hope you enjoy her.

 

I love her so much already! We have got to have a play date or something.

I was thinking of who I know with mini Dachshunds and if I invited them all over we'd have like 7-8 little guys running around.

Ru says hi Fry! after she gets a little bigger she needs to start meeting other dogs. It was fantastic at the pet store Saturday she galloped up to this GIANT pure bread German Shepherd (also very handsome) luckily he was very nice, even though she would have fit very nicely in his mouth.

 

If you think that was something... imagine a Great Dane! its head was as big as my dog when it was 3months old.

Awww. So cute. Yea its weird about lil dogs. They dotn like other lil dogs. they like to go play with bigger dogs. At least most of the ones i have seen do and my lil dog ***** does it. I swear the dogs are gonna eat him alive but they just like the attention from the lil guy.

 

Cute puppy, congrats, Gracie and Axel would love to play with her. They play well with my parents mini dachshund.
