Pacific Northwest owners CHECK-IN!
welcome legendary !!.. check out the regular meets that happen happen each month.. they are stickied.... tho nothing IN seattle... but have the extremes covered... alderwood mall, tacoma mall, kitsap.... and then random meets as people decide.... .. check the board... hop in at any thing that meets your schedule.. if nothing meets.. post up sayin "mini-meet here...xx day xx time..." you'll usually get 3-4 at minimum show up
Hey there legendary.
What HE ^^ said. ;)
A few of the guys I get together with typically get together (or at least have in the past) at bellevue Square, Northgate Mall or somewhere around there...
Meets are happening all the time, sometimes spur of the moment. (In fact we're kinda bad about making it SO spur of the moment sometimes that it's seriously a phone call of "We're here... wanna join?") LOL but yeah, the main concentration of owners in YOUR area spans from Everett-ish to Tacoma-ish.
If you're ever up for a spur of the moment type thing, feel free to contact me.
Welcome again!

I got my tC on Dec, 10th, the day after my 18th birthday from Bob Bridge Scion in renton, it's all stock with iPod stereo and the airbags installed, oh yeah... and it's an FM, represent.
Got about 580~ mi on it now, I'm lovin' it.
Lookin' to meet some other tC owners in the area and learn more about these cars and cars in general, mostly I'm picking stuff up from my friends and seeing as I'm a teenager, probably the least dangerous thing for me to upgrade would be the sound system, of course I want to keep the stock HU and just add in either 1 12" sub or 2 10" subs, we'll see which way I go.
Sup!
~Tyler.

Once the weather gets a little nicer, I'll be installing the turbo. I need to wait till it's riding weather out so I can ride my bike to work if the car is out of commission while I'm doing work on it. I'll be running the TD (turbodynamics) turbo on my tC. At the same time, I'll change out the flywheel/clutch and install the LSD. I don't like tearing ____ apart multiple times so it will all get done at once.
I've never been a fan of supercharging, and since I've turbo'd every car I've owned, I'll stick to that. I've used TD in the past and prefer their setups compared to others.
My car goes to Systems Unlimited after the new year, and they'll be handling all the audio stuff. It's the only aspect of ____ I don't know.
I'm also waiting for winter to be over to put the wheels on it. I dont want to run the nice rims in the winter and risk ____ing them up. I went the classic route, 18" Volk LE37K's. They are nice and "old school". At the same time, I'll change out the suspension putting H&R coilovers (dropping it) and putting the sway bars on.
I have other little things here and there I'll be doing. I'm very much a fan of looks & power so I tend to do both.
I'll be posting pics up as I do the different modifications.
I'm sure I'll see you around.
Nico

Welcome Tyler and Nico. Good to see some more tC's in the area. From what I've seen so far it appears that the southend meets are staying in Tacoma, the northend meet as we know it is apparently shifting to Lake City, I'm gonna MAINTAIN a "northend" meet, and maybe try to get another one going.
There's threads all throughout here that go into the different info for each, but there's two clubs throughout the region... Scion Evolution (SE) and Scikotics. Both allow you to JOIN BOTH and we've got some great fundraising stuff coming up pretty much all the time. If something's not planning, it's usually happening.
I work in Redmond Fridays and Saturdays and the entire week after Christmas except the 26th. If you guys want to meet up at some point this week I'm right by Marymoor Park.
Merry Christmas all and hope to meet the new folks soon.
