It generally takes about an hour - not because of the distance but because of the windiness of 106 -however, it is a most pleasant drive along Hood Canal where you can see the "ritzy" part of Mason County (the part right next to Kitsap) and then the "real" Mason county as you drive up 101 to (what we affectionately call) the 'Waup.

I am looking forward to driving up to Bremerton and Silverdale (home of our favorite Chinese restaurant) once the new Xb arrives!
