I hate to admit it, but I suck at mandolin right now. It's been so much easier to just pick up the guitar and play rather than trying to learn a new instrument. I love the sound of the mandolin...that's been my motivation to learn.

Where does your sister work? Here in OR? What level does she work at (county, state, etc)?

 

My brother enjoys the sound of the digerydo and wants to take it up as an accompanyment of his guitar playing.

My sister works in Washington at the state level. She works for the SDCC and you can see her bio slightly up above yours on this thread.

And CONGRATS on the new xA! And yes...there are other Scion drivers around...the question is do they realize how special they are?

Actually, there are always quite a few Scions around the bases (Whidby, Bremerton, Ft. Lewis, McChord). And some other ScionLifers are near you: Jenna in Stanwood, dugzilla in Marysville, and several in Everett.

I've actually had my xA since February. ;) I've been lurking around here for a couple weeks and joined a couple days ago. I know there are plenty of Scions.. but they really don't know how special they are. And they need to be here. :D
