Justin -- welcome back to this corner of the globe! Did you go with a turbo kit, or piece a system together yourself? Outstanding that you have a turbo set up! How much horsepower are you running? At what psi? Just began the mod process myself, with Fujita CAI and HKS Hi-Power, custom catback, now officially installed. Aiming for suspension mods next. Hope to catch up with you at an event or gathering to be able to check out your car.

 

i have a custom kit that me and a shop made, using a 57 trim garett turbo. im running 10 psi havent dynoed yet but hoping for 300whp

 

Very cool. Bet that thing flies! I've been looking at some of the kits out there and my mind keeps hearing "turbo charged" when I think of the letters, tC. Just the very, very minor mods I have tell me how much potential this engine has to do great things.

I've wondered if anybody has done an all motor tC, and what that would be like, but, then again, the lure of the turbo is hard not to consider. Just the thought of spooling, and blow off valves, and the sound that only a turbo brings -- well, it's just about impossible not to want that rush. It's in a class by itself, I think.

Any chance you're going to the car show in Oregon on the 24th? If so, are you planning to head down with a pack of Scions, or just cruising down? I'll be heading out from Seattle with my younger bro, or at least plan to, if work doesn't cut into the idea. If you're of a mind to, let me know if you plan on being down there.

i went to the honda-tech meet in gold garden in seattle, if you guys know where that is. there were a lot of ricers. i am knew to scion life and i was wondering do we have a tc meet anytime soon?

 

every meet is a tc meet lol just show up when there is one and a bet there will be a few there.

Thanks everyone. I will be attending the Heartland Toyota Meet 'n Greet's for the rest of my time left in WA. I leave at the end of May, but that is still plenty of time to make some good friends.
