Alright, the chalkboard was fun for a year, but now i'm wanting something different. I think i'm going a solid color, want a satin finish this time. So my first test was with satin aqua, i was thinking a white roof too possibly.

Then this morning, i sanded it down to bare metal, primed it, and sprayed this, satin navy slate:

I think it looks good with the black....
I sent pics of the aqua to a few guys whose opinions I respect, and got some mixed reviews. I'm curious what everyone else thinks. let me have it, the good, bad or ugly. Thanks!

Orange was my original plan, but decided I wanted a blue. Seafoam green is a color i was looking at, but there is one out there a similar color.
i like the first color 'cause it's different and no on really has it, but i think the second color goes better with the black.
if i had to chose, i say the second color

I don't want you humping my car, at least without protection....If I had my pop's Leadsleds right now, i'd definatley go with the aqua/white two tone. Shawn, i'll be losing the black altogether, cept for the tint and the lights. I was also looking at a flat red, i may try that next. But I still have a gallon of my original color choice at work. As you can tell, i'm frickin' confused!
so my eyes suck right now... is that aqua with a light blue? or light green shade? hmm.. i like the navy slate... if the aqua is to the blue shade that works ... maybe some chrome accents or door moldings retro style like someone above mentioned...
ahh cliff. i know how you feel 'cause I can't think of a new color for my car either - i have been racking my head on this for some time now - well that and how am i going to pay for it since most shops want soooo damn much money to paint a car
It all boils down to what your eyes are going to like for a long period of time. I dig the first color, but don't think I'd -personally- be able to live with it for a long time. The darker second color (navy slate) looks a lot more like something I'd do to my own car and keep for a long time. I think it'll look really strong with the black accents of your tinted lights and black wheels.
In conclusion, 1nut puts 1vote toward option 2, Navy Slate.

It's aqua KK. And shawn, gotta DIY for the savings. Stephen, i agree the dark blue goes nice with the black. But now I may go back to my original color choice. It's Boeing primer, super tough stuff:
and Shawn what body kit are you going for? i think a combo of

and

for tagging and then a background of

would be hot. but not sure what style you are going for. let me know and maybe i can help (i'm an artist! haha).

oh ha ha. no i still have my old one and no one has really expressed interest so i'll keep it unless someone else wants it then i will go to stock.. eitehr way i want to change the color
ok cool. i think a tagged "street" style would work well for your box.
Cliff - what style are you going for? that will really help with deciding a color. i like all 3 of the colors that you have used.
