I am wondering if anyone wants to cruise out to Forest Grove area and eat a home made sausage and kraut dinner. Its all you can eat for $15 bucks. The area is very scenic and would be a nice outing for the group.
" Every year the folks in Verboort have invited a few of their
neighbors over for a sausage and sauerkraut dinner.
In 1934, 198 lbs of sausage and 10 gallons of sauerkraut were
served to 150 diners. In 1999, 13 tons of sausage and 350 gallons
of sauerkraut were served to over 8000 diners.
We would like to invite you to come join us for dinner(map)on the
first Saturday in November. Prices : Children (6-12) $7,
Seniors (62+) $14, and Adults, $15. The dinner includes
all you can eat Verboort Sausage and sauerkraut, both made by
parishioners right here on the church property. Included is a 7
ingredient green salad, rolls, mashed potatoes with gravy, green
beans, and a piece of apple or lemon pie. Dinners are also available
"to go" at $15."

What do you guys think? Maybe we meet up somewhere and cruise out as a group?

Well, this seems like a pretty positive response. Since there are a few people coming from the north do we want to meet up at Steakburger and cruise out west together? This event is quite popular so we should plan on getting there early in the day to avoid a long wait to get in the dining room.
It is also quite close to my home so we might be able to accomodate a few folks who want to "rest" after all the food and fun.
