Default Pioneer Avic D3 on Sale @Bestbuy

Sorry for the SPAM, but I couldn't help but tell everybody in the PNW about this deal. I saw it in the Sunday Ads. The AVic D3 is only $699 at Bestbuy. Not sure if you can piggyback this deal with their mail in rebate but if so, thats another $200 off. OK, I'm off to go pick up my new Head Unit. Happy Sunday!

Hopefully they do, that would be sweet for a $499 D3 with a factory warranty

FYI, I just read the rebate form, and it does not work at some of the following stores, Best Buy, Car Toys, and Crutchfield and a couple more.

That is kinda a sneaky rebate form............as those are the top distributers of the Avic.........so who else is an authorized seller for it............

SonicElectronix has it for $664.65 shipped.

If they're an "Authorized Pioneer Dealer", then $464.65 after rebates is pretty slick.

just thought of something.... and it might work.
Get the ad of Bestbuy, Go to Fry's Electronics and price match since they're not specified on the mail in form. get it for 699.99 and try the mail-in rebate. I'm not a 100% on this but it seems feasible (in my head at least)

Hey it says, "This offer cannot be combined with any other rebates or any in-store rebates or discounts."

If you price match at Fry's is that considered a rebate or discount? I don't personally. I should call the company tomorrow.

But who should I call Fry's or/and Pioneer?

Call Pioneer as they are the ones who are gonna deny the rebate if you do not do exactly as they say...........

I think I may just order mine online as that way by the time I get to checkout there are no taxes...........I am probably gettignthe one with bluetooth, ipod, paci, and camera..........yes I only live once and I want it all........

the rebate says specifically not valid at best buy circuit city and some other place. my friend bought it thinking he could use it, when he printed out the pdf off of the pioneer website it says in light gray print or something to that effect that it's not valid in those retail locations

but even at 699, you can't beat the quality you're getting. i've had my d3 for about 6 months now, maybe 9. i love it

Yeah, but what we are talking about is, price matching at Fry's with the Best Buy catalog.
