Well the leavenworth drive was a bust from the beginning. Lets throw out some ideas of places we could drive to. and raise some money for a non profit.

(note: no thread jacking,no disrespect and no rudeness would be appreciated)

 

I say to the coast...you know you could do a penninsula cruise through port angeles and donate proceedes to suicide prevention in corinas name...just my .02

What about a drive to Zeeks? the burger joint on the way to Leavenworth. LOL. I know I know leavenworth. But Zeeks has great burgers

 

leavenworth is cool, but a lot has to do with the relation to their vehicle make. What about like the japanese gardens or something related to ours?

 

Really like this idea... could maybe make up some stickers and whomever donates gets one?

 

i like the suicide prevention idea of Kanchi's where we cruise around the peninsula. i would be down for that! maybe end at a burger joint or Asian restaurant to tie it all off. that would be a cool drive

lol....the motto of the cruise could be "cruise of a lifetime" or something along those lines.

So, if we are somewhat commited to a Costal drive I would put this idea out there , Seattle to Chehalis 94 miles , Portland to Chehalis 87 miles where North would meet South and then the GOOD part , leave Chehalis via Wa.6 west a 71 mile roller coaster ending at Shoalwater Bay Casino.. Where I have a contact that will GLADLY host our Event.. He will open the Sunday Buffet to us for I believe $7.95 , also will give us Match Playps. I have already spoken with him breifly.. Thoughts??

All are great Ideas, maybe make 3 seperate events out of the one...I REALLY think we need to go with Erik's idea, we didn't have a cruise for Corina last year, that i can remember, I still have my rock in my dash cubby (those that went to the first cruise in memory of Corina will know what I'm talking about)...I also like the idea of a cruise to Chehalis for all you can eat (i'm a fatty i know) AND also the cruise to Leavenworth, who cares if its a Bavarian town, or that everyone always goes there, its allllll about the cruise and good company

 

I like the casino idea and cruizing to a burger joint but never heard of zekes...link?

Also there is a great pkace in port angeles called frugals...there is also one in like puyallup I believe as well

 

I like all these ideas. We should first try to figure out corinas drive first. I think its important we do revive that drive. We can plan a couple of other drives to.
