Dusting the car will not help. Out side who knows how many prints will be there and if they know what they are doing which it sounds like they did there will not be any inside either. Thats way they don't bother any more on car theifs. Dam it really sucks but if we all keep our eyes and ears open maybe someone will catch the bastards trying to sell the parts or maybe bragging about it. Then we can go tear them a new one. i had the same thing done to my civic, dissambled the lock turned it and shatter the steering wheel lock to turn it, week later was found minus turbo kit, injectors, hondata, cf hood and trunk, at least yours will be sorta driveable, i had to tow mine, sorry for your luck though

No luck with finding parts..saw my car a few days ago..insurance wouldn't allow me to buy the vehicle back from them..due to "liability" reasons, thinking I might've gone out stolen my own car and stripped it for insurance money..bogus stuff.. It was sad to see her so broken..so empty.

When my tC's were broken in to I had to call and raise hell and DEMAND they send a senior officer out to dust for prints. If you request the have to, it is after all their job.

2 years criminal justice in a freaking community college and I somehow knew the dispatchers job better than she did.

and sometimes they feel the need to deliberate on things. a friend of mine had his car broken into the interior stabed and slashed than they dropped his impala off of an embankment. they blamed them for it and said they were trying to pull an insurance scam....
