Ok, I was asked who all from up here were driving down to Reno in August for this event, so I thought I would start a roll call to get an idea. I know of just a few people and trying to get a better idea. Shirley and I are planning on heading out Wed. and driving to Medford, then cruising down with a few people from down that way on Thurs.. Get into town a day early and go out to dinner with a group of friends that we've met through this event. So, sign up, lets see how many we can get and maybe set up meet up points if we have a good size group going down. Copy and paste the list, add your name, you know the drill....

Yes, that is one of the reasons we are going down Thurs. instead of Fri. I don't know when Justin plans on heading down. We will probably get a room at the Motel 6, or Travel Lodge there near the Black Bear diner. Meet up Thurs. morning and head out.

 

I am suggesting meeting up sometime Wednesday night to say a quick HELLO - make sure ya'll get in OK. Sound good? What time you plan on rolling in?

Also - i'd like to hit up breakfast NLT 8:30am. Does that sound do-able or is that pushing it a little too early?

 

OK, I made reservations at the Shilo Inn, didn't want to stay at the 6 and read reviews on the others there and they didn't sound much better. Best Western was going to be over $100 for a night. if you want, we can grab a bite to eat after we get in Wed. Shooting for no later than 6pm. We can meet for b-fast anytime, thinking leave hotel at 0800 and head for Black Bear. That way we can get going as early as possible.
