Default Portland Museum Question

Okay guys...tomorrow I'm going to make the trek down to OMSI (to see the Star Wars exhibit before it leaves) and I'm wondering if anyone in that area can tell me about the other museums.

I know that one of the PDX ones was going to have an Egypt exhibit (either coming up or going on now)...does anyone know what museum that is?

Thanks in advance!

The Egyptian exhibit is at the Portland Art Museum:

Haven't been yet, but it goes through March, so I will make it before it leaves. I really want to see Tutankhamun's treasures, which is at the Field Museum in Chicago, but I don't think that will happen...

Enjoy your trip to Portland, Corey Ann. Please let us know how the exhibit is...

I wonder his this is the same exhibit they had in Victoria BC a couple years back at the BC Museum. I believe it was called Eternal Egypt. Anyway talk about incredible! I went twice and would go again.... utterly spectacular.

I'm also going to hit up the Bodies tour before that exhibit leaves in April and I'm going to go see the Dead Sea Scrolls this week as the engagement ends on the 7th.

Anyone interested in any of these, let me know and we can check 'em out together.

OMSI and the Art Museum are about the only museums down here really... Portland is more known for its gardens and restaurants than museums heh!

And yeah, OMSI is down on the waterfront now and has its own submarine! Way coolness.
