Any update on the insurance? Any word on if they have found the bodies of the people that took your rims yet?

That sucks yo! glad Eric Z was able to help you out!

Wheel locks are only a preventive measure. I had two different sets on my previous car. If they know what they are doing they can have all four wheels off in a matter of minutes especially with the the right tools and jack!

? That is odd that they will not cover it. Who are you insured with? My friend had his 24" taken off his Escalade in Cali they left his SUV on bricks and his insurance covered it.

I would fight the insurance company on this especially since the stock tC wheels are around $375 each 1500 + tires you are looking at $2200 easy. A lot of times they just deny the claim to make you refile and jump thru hoops because insurance companies don’t want to pay out. Good Luck!

Congrats on the job!

I'd have to agree with Mo on this point... Unless you've had multiple claims, I'd shove this down their throat until they paid up (only because I pay I bunch and rarely if ever file a claim).

Katrina has caused most insurance companies to tighten the belt, like Mo said, it's the hoops...

Gotta do it:
Heather it has been several months now since you were in touch w/ me last. We agreed that you would make me payments of $20/month for the wheels (for a grand total of $200 for the factory wheels & tires). You have not paid me a cent, you have not stayed in contact, what the heck? I know you have been online and gotten my messages on SL and my space as well. It is stuff like this that is making want to help out less and less...and what drove me away from the scene originally...

I"m sorry Erik that this happened to you. I understand why helping others can somewhat be frustrating, but don't give up on helping others when they need it

Wow after knowing Erik I would have to say at least answer the PMs and emails.........he is a very flexable person and that is about all he is needing to insure faith.........

I think we all understand life can be hard and have it's difficult moments but anothers generosity should not be taken for granted...........

I dare say no more as people tend to take what I say a bit mean at times.......comes from living in a world of takers........

Erik I feel for you.

I know we have only met once. Regardless, What you did was the right thing to do, just the out come had a sad result.

But don't give up the hope and the ability to help others out in their time of need. This gift is rare in todays society.

Karma always makes full circle.

I am sure all Erik is looking for is a sign of good faith and an effort given in return for his good deed.

1 less Starbucks coffee/week = $5.00

Better stop now before.........

Heather, just call or email Erik. He went out of his way and did you a really big favor. He isn't asking for too much and you owe him big time for what he did.

Make it right and get a hold of him.
