So since you seem to know all this stuff I guess this thread is pointless.

AND to my knowledge yes sparco follows the laws, which is why they will be up front with you and let you know a lot of their stuff is not intended for every day street driving.

all i needed was a lead. got it today and played doctor with it.

for people with tinted windows below 35% and no lower of 25% AND those with harnesses but still have their seat-belts and want to take them out... memorize those numbers. Law 46.37.430 for window tints and Law 46.37.510 for seat-belts.

as for the off road use only thing... bulllllloni i say. most anything i've seen with those words marked on them were engine parts which will NEVER be looked at by a cop or inspection team unless you have gotten your self into something that requires a full 100pt inspection of your vehicle permitted with a warrant. a 100pt inspection is done at a vehicle inspections office on a scheduled date that you by law are required to show for and is from what i hear, normally done within a 48 hour period of the issues warrant which means you've got some time to cover your butt atleast a little if needed. but at the same time, the probability of that actually happening is going to be more rare then getting struck by lightening because normally. if they have cause to do a 100pt inspection, you're probably already in jail facing sentence and charges and will probably never see a road or car in person for a very long time...

I'm sorry if it seemed like I was trying to say something against all the research you have done, I for one am honestly VERY impressed at the depth.

I was just saying it seems like we got all the answers, which I'm happy about because I had no idea about the exhaust/tint laws here and you have educated lil ol me.

ahh gotchya, sorry i got aggressive towards it.

here's a good one though... since when was the legal speed limit on free-way entrances set to 40mph when the driver's hand book guide specifically state that motorists should go upto 5mph over the posted highway speed limit so that the merging entrance motorist can safely catchup and slowly merge into traffic without hassle... this came up with my buddy when he got pulled over for his exhaust. ticket stated "speeding 20mph over posted limit of 40mph" on a freakin freeway entrance and "illegal exhaust". the cop didn't flash his lights on us until we just started to merge into traffic. they were in the far express lane, shined their spot light through heavy traffic across the highway at night and sped past us about 2 miles and then pulled off to the side of the road to wait for us to pass...

haha i know i can't wait. at the moment i'm actually working on getting some good welding techniques going and searching for some reliable raw metal sources. i got a freind of mine who can do all the machining for me too.

i've been watching videos of 3SGTE swaps with about the same amount of power that i'm aiming for and it's INSANE! i'm trying to hold my self from comming to any meets until i'm able to get the project underway that way i can bring progression pictures each time just to be a tease.
