I was on the way to Speedy glass to have them fill it........I pulled up to the light at my street and I hear a nasty sound.......if you have ever heard it you know.........I look over and the thing has a 15" crack all the way across the passenger side.........if the car was a bit older I would just live with it .........but it is 10 days old..........LOL.........

I guess a windshield is better than the hood or bumper repair that cost me $250 deductable........it is frustrating...........

Hooters for the Win............I love Hooters..........I do not htink Hooters has a dollar menu but I do know Dejavu has a dollar menu.........well sort of...........

but 2400miles of free way driving i have a feeling just invites another chip or more...

so i'll keep the current one and maybe get it fixed in vegas... maybe

Sad about the Yaris getting dinged so soon, B. It doesn't deserve it.

(I hope they have a lot of spare windshields available at the Scion United area... Just getting there is going to take out a few.)

I do not know you you xB guys do it......that think is just asking for rocks to hit it it is so flat........

New windshield is going in at 4 tonight.........after my week I called to verify they really had one......for my car.........cause at this point I might bite.........kinda ____ed about my other parts........

I am glad a rock did not dent the car or something or chip it...........windshield is much cheaper........

(Vanilla seems to average about 8000 miles/windshield.)

Keep good records of your attempts to contact them, write down NOW as much as you can remember, just in case they get nasty and try to refuse coverage.

I was wondering if anybody has ever tried that crystal clear body protecting (bra stuff) plastic sheet on the windshield?

I know older vinyl and clear plastic didn't do so well with sun but that new stuff is supposed to be so much better. I just wonder if it's optically clean enough for a windshield?
