SO I think its about time I take on another project and one I've been rattling around in my head is the revival of Scikotics in the NW

Scikotics (pronounced sigh-cot-iks) is a FREE nationwide Scion Owners' club. We are brought together by a passion for our cars. This means that we welcome all owners whether they have a fully built, trailer queen show car or a person driving a stock Scion as a daily driver. The various chapters have meets at least once a month (and usually more) to simply hang out, chat, eat, etc. We also participate in local, regional, and national car shows.

I've been a member for a while and need 4 more to start an official chapter. I figured I would poke in and see if there is any interest from the masses. I know there are a lot of clubs in the area and a lot of choices but I thought I would offer as I think the Scikotics style club could bring a lot to the table.

Anywhoo, I'll be hosting an informal meet and greet soon to meet any interested members!

Cool D, I have been on their site since we got back from Vegas, hung out with a few members while I was there including Rob(driverlost) and his wife, very nice people.

I really see our niche in the PacNW being just a buch of folks with the same kind of car who hang out every now and then. Plus, I have been drunk in a pool in Miami with Frankenscion so I think ther might be some sort of special bond there......

 

I am glad you are taking this on Dustin... This is a good project and I would love to see more club options in the NW

I do remember when there were a good amount of members here in the NW supporting Scikotics when I moved back from California a couple years ago

I hope it springs up for you again Dustin. Honestly, I'm not certain yet if I want to be part of a club or just continue rolling solo - either way I suppport you and anyone who decided to become a member of your club.

LOL, this time around will be a bit different.

I'm just into bringing something to the table and this seemed to be a good forum to try.

I'm so far removed from so many things regarding show cars and such that this might be the way to just be a car guy again.

Glad there is support for us and with us! I'm not twisting anyones arm and am certainly NOT going to be activly recruiting. I look forward to just being another club open to all and welcoming everyone!

Get some of your Medford crew together and FORM a chapter there! :D It's really pretty easy.

 

Yeah, I would hate branching off from the TA crew and stealing their members. (there's only like 10 of us that have modded cars down here so it would be a lot of competition for the same members). Ohh well though, maybe some of you guys could move down to Medford and start a chapter. LOL JP
