Just curious if anyone has been to road rage class. What do they do? Just show videos all day about how to channel your frustration and what could result from your actions if you dont change them?

 

go rent "a clockwork orange"... That'll give you an idea of what you'll be doing and how they will help you channel your rage..

lol angry? I dont know what youre talking about..just cuz i cussed out some guy for parking so close to my car door I couldnt open it more than 4 inches doesnt mean anything

just cuz i asked a guy if he wanted to brawl cuz he hit me with a dodgeball doesnt mean anything

no like the door was 4 inches open. Theres no way anyone coulda gotten in that I was sitting in my car so its not like i had even walked thru the cars to get to the door. I rolled down my window told the A-hole to move his vehicle that wasnt compact and he got all mad and so i moved my vehicle closer to the non compact car on my right and got out and followed him into the tanning salon and b*tched him out some more then told his pansy **** to enjoy fake n baking!

 

PS just want it to be known im not happy about my anger on the road and it actually keeps me from driving during peak hours because of it. Thats why im trying to deal with it...tho this class was court appointed.

ive tried the soothing music like country (i love country) and talk radio but i still get irritated

I can totally relate to rolling down the window and shyt but whats the point in following him? Where you going to beat him up or something, Im a tough lil chicky but if a fight doesnt go down then and there then past that is just childish... Stop being such a toughy and things will go a lot smoother for you... Country helps me, but lincoln park type music is what I need when Im THAT ____ed off

 

I haven't had road rage classes but i've had anger classes when i was younger they just show some videos and make you do some paper work, course they still didn't help my road rage these days don't worry natilie i avoid driving peek hours too because of the stupid drivers around here

 

I mow the lawn when I am ____ed.... I have a lifted truck now... road rage could be ugly

 

I don't have any road rage problems - I'm actually pretty laid back in nasty traffic (I commuted into downtown Seattle from Pierce and South King county for over a quarter century). I mean, getting upset won't get you where you are going any faster, so just sit back and enjoy the music.

Given that, though, there were those times when it would have been SO tempting to just take out some absolute idiot instead of doing everything possible to avoid them - that's why I never let myself have a big ol' beater truck... My vehicles were always too well taken care of for me to just let them get damaged.

Uh, Nat? Don't ever get a carry permit, OK?

(Seriously, I don't know about those courses, but hopefully whatever it is they do will help. Good luck!)

LOL thats awesome... yah I just drive faster and cut people off harder... I got two tickets in a week in september so the driving fast part has deffiantly let off and it doesnt seem that there are that many stupid drivers anymore probably becuase im not trying to plow through everyne one the road!

 

I never get angry. I dont even remember the last time i was angry actuly. Well, get frustrated sometimes, but anger never seems to happen with me.

I stopped with the road rage about 6 years ago when I almost killed my whole family because I was trying to get back at someone who cut me off. Now nothing bothers me on the road.

 

Or do like I do: When you get angry while driving, just close your eyes and drift off into lala land.

 

Or in Tu's case when he gets cut off honks at the guy then speeds past everyone driving like a mad man

 

lol, I just hit my siren, then roll down the window and flip them off, if I can I get infront and tap the break pedal, its fun watching them swerve and try to avoid me when I'm not even slowing down
