So in order for the organizers to not go Ape-Poop crazy the night before the event, Kekai and I are hosting a party for everyone who wants to come! The party will start at a mall or house to be determined so everyone can meet up, the under 21 crowd can hang out and then those over the age of 21 will be heading to a night out at the 21 21 club in Parkland (21 and older please with ID) kareoke extravaganza. Kareoke songs will be sung, Dustin will be belting out all of your favorite tunes and we'll most likely get really high on life. Or throw up drunk from to many good times. From there who knows where this crazy crowd will end up, but its sure to be a hit!

 

hmm.... I'd go but not gonna ditch my g/f since she is only 20, not fair to push the under age out. I even sing one song I am a master at, but I won't tell :-P

Unfortunately Sat night is a good night in the bar business.

That means Krista will be working and I will be playing Xbox.

You see, normally I would drink all night, party like a rock star in a free hotel room. The grooupies hanging on my every word. Oh how the hazy smoke filled memories dissapate like bubbles in a lawrence welk show.

The old days were different, you didn;t have these fancy drinks, you just had "whiskey" or "Scotch". Nowadays to be a real rock star, you have to know Glen this and Glen that, and something about Jack or Jim. Long gone are the days of spinning rooms, smelly ashtrays and girls named Stevie who happen to know somebody who knows somebody. Long gone are the days of apologizing to an entire city for the abuse and havoc you orchestrated from the jacuzzi suite at the "The Magnolia". Long gone are the days of wondering how you got that giant goldfish past the front desk and into your bathtub. Long gone are these days, long gone.

But I digress,
Krista has to work, so we wont be there till Sunday. That's all I am trying to say.

awwwww...... should still see if she's willing/able to get the night off..... then again.. loss of $$ from tips may be a bigger factor...... sigh oh well.. either way as long as your here for sunday all is well...

 

you know what would be fun is to do this in a fancy way. Just a place to go sip and enjoy a drink. But Karaoke is a good way of doing that too... come to think of it. if my g/f works that night, I will go karaoke and grace you with my favorite Italian songs.

 

question. which is the early bird party and which is the post prefunk? i though the prefunk was before the dinner? or are there 2 parties? i vote 2

I think the prefunk would be the shenanigans portion, complete with the vocal stylings of your favorite forum members and the post prefunk would be the party itself.

Either way, I have to miss the prefunk but I will be at the post prefunk.... and I'm in a little funk about missing the prefunk.... I would like to go, but the wife has a prefunk conflict, so we can enjoy the funk at the post prefunk...... I think I just sprained my pinky,

THEN there is the Early bird paqrty prior to the prefunk....

 

I am still confused. Are we partying on Sunday before the event? I don't think we can come up for Saturday night, I can pitch it to the crew but it is just before Christmas and the usual stress about how to make everyone in your extended family happy is setting in.

 

The funky activitites will be happening through the day on Saturday.

I am definitely down with the early side of this. Not sure waht to call it. I am so confused by all this funkiness. Might have to bail before the whole drunken singing ensues because I have a bar hopping extravganaza to make it to. Friends are throwing a 12 Bars of Christmas thing Saturday night so I might still be a little inebriated on Sunday.

 

We'll be down for the later part... around 12 or so... depending on how long I have to stay under 100 MPH.... (Kidding)

It usually takes me about 2-3 to hit seattle.... so we'll see.... can you post a street address for the bar, so I can mapquest it?

I have a club party in tacoma Saturday night (Koi club), so it might end
fairly early like 11:00. Maybe you could just PM me with a cell number
