I miss my 08' Scion xb2 SOOOOOO much!!!
I got caught in the moment back in January... when i finally was old enough to get a car in my own name (my 08' my parents financed for me) i was approved for a 2010 Scion xB or for that matter anything around 20k because i was going to get one in my own name.... upon arriving @ the dealer they had a 2010 SW xB out front waiting for me....the salesman was talking to me and saying that i would loose my 16' scion alloys ect and have to start back from scratch (basically) if i traded in my 08' for a 10' and he asked if i had ever seen the 2010 Toyota Corolla I having alot of time on my hands and being nice said "sure ill look" he walked me over to the corollas and none of them stood out to me! except for ONE! lol it was a 2010 Corolla "S" brand new, Auto, moonroof, upgraded 6 disk cd player, bluetooth, lip kits, the whole deal! all for under $17,700 this was January 20th, 2010, so after convincing me WHY a corolla was a "good choice" i ended up saying goodbye to my FAVORITE CAR... in a spur of the moment...out the door brand new Rolla for about mid 16k after trade... long story short the deal was closed at 8 pm and the giant toyota recall came out the very next morning and i have been out of the dealership for what seems like month after month!!! fixing "recalls" dont get me wrong after about 8+ visits to the dealer is not my idea of fun! plus side the Corolla gets SUPER good gas milage! and looks VERY nice being the "s" unfortunately super generic blends in like all other cars like no other but...... SLOW.... makes my old 08' xB felt like a sports car!!! All in all i really liked my Corolla then did not like it... but now i like it again but if the deal ever came i think i would totally trade for a new Scion!!! either a 2011 Scion tC or 2011 Scion xB, or maybe even the 2012 iQ when it comes out!!!! i also wanted to say I miss Scionlife! and the scion meets even though i only brought my xB to one in hillsbro, or by sonic! but i went with my bro scion71tc to a few more!!!
Scions Rock! all who read this whole thing! your awesome and you rock too!!! im in the middle of buying rims for my corolla but i could save that 1,000 and save it for a down payment!!! what do you think? any opinions! lol

and yea i hope i have good luck with the rolla' i did manage to get 45 mpg going up to Bellingham, Wa back in Feb. The only downside is the Corollas have been 0% interest (which is very nice!) for over one year! and they are as one toyota employee told me "a dime a dozen" so hopefully i will have some equity back in it here soon since MSRP was about 22k and i got it for 16k after trade! i almost had my hands on a 2011 SW xB back in may or june, but toyota financial said i had only made four payments on the rolla and they wanted me to make more before they let me get something else, but they also kinda saved me because they dealer tried to roll over 2k negative equity! :?

All in all we will see!

Anyone in PNW have a 2011 Scion tC yet? i have seen one @ vancouver toyota!

Ya! and you prob also saw me may 5,2010 when everyone met @voodoo donuts! ahhhh Scions and donuts...... lol when we got to check out the new tC and iQ!!! And i would not mind heading out there sometime....to sonic in my toyota... at least they all have "that" in common! are the sonic meet and greets on SL? as for the rims! ahh it already has the 16' corolla alloys! i was going to get gold because black and gold will look cool! IMO but ill hold off,,, ykno good advice!


Random though..... i almost bought a Kia Soul! good thing i did not get sucked into that....i might not have been able to get out of it!(sorry if anyone has one!)

 

Ah you went to the Dimension thing? Ya I was at voodoo, I have the Azure Blue tC so ya probably saw me. And we don't do a whole lot of the Sonic meet posting on anything lol..they kinda have been random at times. Do you have a FB? I can message ya on there and let ya know when we're gonna meet up.
