Default scion backstage thingy

I tried to ask this question on the other thread posted up by Top Dog but apparently it was locked for some reason.

ANYWAY..... Do you have to have a special computer to access the scionbackstage.com site?? All I get is the opening flashdance and then it gives me a screen with nothing but the logo and a couple places where probably the links should be but they don't work. ... and a link to the rules and privacy policy (which I can open). Not that I was thinking about going to it or anything, but curiousity has my attention and now I want to see what it is. I have Safari on a Mac.

Speaking of... there are a lot of PNW people who do not travel any further than this forum and would not of known about this deal from Scion unless Victor posted it here. I make it to some places and didn't even see it myself even. More often than not, ScionLife rules that make perfect sense in most other forums on this site, do not here in our forum.

Annie, if you cannot get it figured out, I will be more than happy to sign you up if you want. All I need is you to PM me your full name and an address.

if Victor hadn't posted that thread, I wouldn't have seen it. and even doing a search of "backstage" brings up nothing relevant for me.

And the "hip2bsquare" thread that was linked to before our thread got locked is buried in the "Scion xB 2nd Gen rumors" forum.

Does anyone have a decent link to the "proper" thread for these TWO separate subjects? That would be nice to have.

Steve posted the hip2bsquare thread a week or so ago, I got registered for the backstage event for Portland thanks to Victor's post. The link is still in the locked thread, just can't post on the topic anymore.
*edit* please do not post the pw publicly

I managed to get into the site by using Explorer (good thing I kept it on my puter!!!) but for some reason the registration is goofy and won't work. I'll try again another day or maybe it's not meant to be. Sounds intriguing tho......

victor should be making anohter post about it shortly.

Please understand the rules of the site are there for a reason and if you dont like them, please please please make a constructive suggestion that would put the wheels of change in motion. You can always make suggestions in the website discusion forums as I know the Supers, Troy and Darren are always in there responding to folks.

I don't know if a post in the Website Discussion forum is appropriate. It's not really a rule that is the issue.

Being a moderator doesn't mean you are to blindly enforce rules, it's being able to enforce the rules and use common sense at the same time. It's about humbly accepting other people's views and taking them into consideration. I'm sure this an acceptable and expected approach to moderating this site quite a few other mods do this already.

Every website owner, moderator and poster makes a mistake or a bad judgment call. If we speak our minds a little bit, they won't know how the people feel about the things they have done or did and will never be given the opportunity to change themselves to become even a better owner, better super mod or even a better poster.
