yeah, sorry CJ (and Josh) not going to be there, finishing up the car, and then later running up to monroe (in other car) to see whats going on, get tickets, see if any racing it still going on tonight.
last year people came to the m&g's, especially before shows to show off new stuff and get help or whatever, now people stay home afraid of getting their cars dirty...
c'mon, you're going to spend all day wiping it down when you're there anyway, what does a drive to and from a m&g where you see friends and hang out and eat dinner hurt?
the last 3 meets i've shown up at have been empty. cancelled/no-shows basically...
super awesome fun times.

Yeah it is hard to goto a meet with an Event the day after......I know I had to get up at before 5am to get everything out he door on time, even skiped the Oly meet up so I could get to bed early. You gotta remember that most the guys up north there and down south here in the last two years have painfully been modding their cars for these shows day after day and month after month and many of us are into them for a lot of time and money and somedays it is just nice to stay home and mentally prepare and let the body rest....even the Tacoma Meet has shrunk up a lot over the summer and it is usually the largest meet year round........as the show season draws to a close next month the meets will get larger and they will come......I feel your frustration though.
Unfortunately I was at the Mariner's game on Friday, where I got my Griffey Bobblehead!!! Whooo! Anyways, especially for this show, timing was tough, many of us down south met around 7AM in the morning on Saturday, and that means that people had to get up around 5-6AM. It was a tough night detailing (things that could NOT be done at the show aka vacuuming, etc). I understand that it's dissappointing when people do not show up to a monthly event and next time if I am still in town, I will be there. Tyler why didn't you come to Formula?
Still isn't for me. I went to the Oly meet, got home a little after 11, by the time I got to bed it was midnight, and had to get up at 4:30 to meet up with my team for the show at 6:30 in Seattle. Your either hard core or your not... no real middle ground.
<---Not hardcore anymore
if my commute was shorter and i didnt get off at 6p... i actually did consider going... but i'd get there at 830ish if lukcy...
i want to get back to showing up at m&g unfortunatly other aspects working against me
