? um...not following you I guess. I know what I was saying is that if someone doesn't get an invite that really wanted to go I would relinquish my tickets so they could get the VIP experience...you know being unselfish...greater good and all. Not saying I didn't want to go but if someone doesn't get in (which I don't believe has ever happened at this event) by chance I would pass that opportunity to them and buy tickets if it came down to it.

The e-mail sounds like you would pick up credentials with you're name on them the day of event This may not allow you to choose who to give the tickets too, and you should decline the invitation so they could choose another random owner. You might want to e-mail event coordinators to see if its alright to give them to someone of your choosing or they need to go to a random choice. There are only 50 spots chosen to be VIP, giving yours away to someone you chose would not be fare to those witting to be randomly chosen.

You are right. On Monday I will contact them and ask them if they are near capacity and see if they have had to turn anyone away yet. If so I will relinquish my pass to someone who is still wanting to go that maybe be potentially turned away. Will you or anyone else follow suit if people are being turned away?

i will be attending, but now showing this year - my car is not in good enough shape to show right now

 

Sure will, I received my confirmation Friday and am still not sure if I can go. I will know by Tuesday, If I'm not going I will send it back for someone else.

 

If I can get in I will be showing.... it'll prolly be the only show of the year

^ yeah i'm feelin that. i probably wont get to show much this year. my new job (i start on the 13th) has me working saturdays. i'll be hitting up some shows to visit because i'll be off work at 2:30.

not really, its at ACS. everyone that applies and can type more then 25 wpm can get a job there. its just to make SOME money for now. I dont plan to stay long. it was always my last resort.

 

Ok well since i guess i am not going so i decided to send them (scion vip) a msg saying that i will not be attending and to give my tickets and spot to someone else. just hope i can go next year this was the event that i was soooo wanting to go to this year and watch them drift.
