Well just finished the car detailing,only took 9 hours,just to have the rain start coming down seconds after gettign it done.......lol

Wow........what a great day..........I must say Scion really got it right this year.......and I would love to say thanks to all the people who worked so hard to put this together for us all..........

First the Show was awesome......we had most of the finest Scions in the PNW in side the gates.......the judgeing was really good too,the judge took his time with those that were there with their cars.......and I think did a good job.......I know some must of been wondering why the heck we got best Exterior paint.........so were we cause I thought we might place at best int eh Scion tC class.....so we taked to the judge and he was impressed that the cars paint though stock was on a daily driver that gets parked 8 hours a day at the mall and not a ding,swirl,and very few front chips......he did note all the other mods but that was what really to him stood out........I must thank Griots for great products and my 15 hour day on Friday with claybar,rubbing compound,polish 2,polish 3,best of show wax,and speed shine.......Griots has the best stuff flat out.

I was glad Allie was able to get best Female......I know she wanted to have a chance to finally pull off one for the car.........so we let Cindy play withthe boys today........personally I still want to see a pillow fight.........lol

The food.........OMG.......they really went all out and fed us all like Kings.........3 Pigs is now on my list to visit for that chicken.......God it was good.

The giveaways today........holy crap batman.........they really gave away some sweet stuff........autographed shirts and hats and car products and Nintendo DS and Ipod..........

Then Gushi and Tanner........man those guys were some of the nicest guys,they signed so much stuff today for everyone........dude........that is super cool.....and took pictures with people and that was really cool........they even signed several cars for at least a dozen people.......that was cool.......they were even late to going back to the races as not to leave anyone out.....

The pits rocked this year........there was so much stuff being given away it was incredable........and the drivers were super accessable to anyone and everyone......

The races were sweet.......Tanners car is a beast........OMG........I am still shocked after the do it one more time in the first round he gat knocked out......he had it and jsut not sure how they did not advance him......

Gushi.......man is he ____ed.......they got the last years tranny issues worked out,car is putting the power to the ground........but this year it put to much cause he twisted and snapped,or tore the drive line in half.........dude......that is serious power to crunch that like it was......if you saw it you know waht I meen......

The races.........dude that was a fast track........I feel for the poor Subie.......it got crunched and is twisted,we followed it back up 405 on the trailer and it sits way wrong now.......

Scion........you did great this year and it was neat to talk to people who came to check out our cars........they were impressed........and super jealous Scion did so much for us and their car manufactures never do anything for them.........we are lucky.......

As you can tell I pounded at least 14 of those Rockstars..........lol.........and of course 2 beers........gotta have a cold one at the races........

I am sure this is the funnest event Scion does for us in the PNW......man we are lucky to have a track for this........I know so many guys across the USA would love to have FD come to there area........

 

^ good write up. who ended up winning the drift? anyways, thanks again to scion for hooking it up VIP style. it was good seeing everyone. i have tons of pics but will most likely post it up tomorrow or monday.

I'm so glad I won best female! I think everyone got the right trophies. I felt like maybe I cheated by Cindy not showing so I went up and asked the guy on points if I would have taken you guys because I wouldn't feel right about it otherwise.


I feel pleased to know that no pillow fighting tie breakers are necessary after talking to the head dude guy and that I got my trophy fair and square.

However, pillow fighting is still on the table for beans.


.... just sayin.

And HUGE congrats to all the other winners!



And now? Time for bed.

 

sweet the beans have reached a whole new level.......they are pillow fightable......lol.......yeah the judge really seems to enjoy the power mods,a lot of work has gone into that car and is important......I am am laughing at poor Erik having to watch you spoon that trophy all night..........lol
