So I was at Scion of Bellevue this morning for some routine maintenance on my tC and the service manager I was working with informed me that SoB no longer offeres Scion labor rate meaning I would need to pay $110 for about a half hour worth of work, instead of the $55 us Scion owners usually pay per hour. I will be calling other local dealerships to find out if they still offer this rate. **Update** Just got off the phone with toyota of kirkland, magic toyota, and rodland toyota and was asked by service managers who have worked at each for many years "what is scion labor rate?" Looks like we need to start working on our DIY's everyone.

 

I thought scion labor for us in NY was 90 bucks an hour not 55??? so that means your toyota dealer charges $220 dollars an hour for labor???

 

No, the normal Toyota rate here is around $110/hour give or take depending on the dealership and the scion community up until this point only had to pay about half of that which would be approx. $55/hour. Now they have decided to charge us full price.
