My dad works in paint and I can ask him. I'll ask today but probably can't get back to you till tomorrow.
Other people (like Honey0Bucket) also might have a lead on this and might be able to help.

There was just a post on this in the main xB forum...

I have a bottle of paint we got from the dealership.. I may be going to the Halloween Party tonight.. give me a little bit and I'll let you know if I'm going for sure, I could give it to you there if you're going. (It's not spray paint.. I'll show you what it looks like on a BSP car.) Let me know if you need it or if you're gonna go with the spray paint.
Maybe he did a search for canned spray paint and got a hit on this thread. But then again, he'd see the more active spray paint thread on the xB forum, lol.
And to the Georgia guy, if you were asking me about the flake/pearl stuff, I don't know. Did you look at the website and see what it said?

Whoops... I just saw this post on the recent list and found myself interested. I could ask you what spraypaint has to do with the pacific north-west. Sorry to step on your virtual turf, man!
^The website states: "This is the actual color of your vehicle. When you apply the automotive paint (basecoat) to the damaged area, it will almost look like your repair is done. However, you have to apply the clearcoat to properly finish the repair."
This leads me to assume that is just the Black Sand color and clearcoat with flake/pearl would need to be added for the correct color.
I dont want or need this product, I have an air compressor and gun. I just thought it was an interesting product. I would like to color match my engine cover, but will use my spray gun with matched paint and a flaked clearcoat.

hotweelz4me, you bring up a good point. I was going to buy a can and go spray crazy, lol.
And I think I can accept your reasonings for being here. Don't worry about honeybucket, we'll talk him down, lol. ;)

all i can really say is that anything that comes out of a can will not compair to something that comes out of a real paint gun.

Lol Honey.. the guy from Georgia isn't even the original poster.
yeah..i know this one guy...named nick...his name is honey0bucket on scionlife. he has done things for people such as dougzilla, wedrivescions, downhillspec, 2_tC, camie, and a few others as well as his own work on his ex-tC and his current two-toned xB. you should give him a pm and talk it over with him...
So I also have a few chips/scratches that I would like to paint over. Little did I know that in addition to the base color, I also need to get a clearcoat and primer. I'm not really sure what these do or what order to apply these. Anyone can inform? By the way, I'm looking at PaintScratch.com for the paint pen kit.
And I believe Honey is supposed to be doing somethings to his girlfriends curent tC but I guess he forgot about that. I'll let her know its time to whip out the spray paint and do it herself.
