I wanted to share an invitation I got today..

I think it would be a blast to get a group together for this. Don't really feel like being in a parade, but the show and shine would be fun. Can we just show up for the show, get there early and get the cars cleaned up from the drive? May have to post a link to this on Scikotics and see if any of them want to go. There are a few on there that don't cruise SL very often.
Also, where is this suppose to take place at, the dealership? If so, I guess I could call them and find out whats going on for sure.

OK, a little more info, just got this email from Ron. He also added that there is a $100 cash prize for all 1st place winners. So, if you wanna head down, post up and we will get something going for this.

no u do not have to do the parade, the event is being held at 523 e. 3rd st. , The Dalles , or. 97058--Griffith Scion/Toyota/Honda. ANY scions are welcomed. we have classes 4all
. also let me know how many are coming, because i can get a $25 chevron gas card for each of you. should help a little with fuel charges. Again ANY and ALL scions are welcomed. I just might do this....do they have a trophy for custom/modified cracked lip kits caused by road debris? If so, I'm pretty sure I'd be locked in for 1st place..

Thanks Stephen, hope u can make it. I still cannot get into forums to post, says admin rights are not there yet?? Says I don’t have access/authorization for getting into reply or post threads? Anyway could u let ur peep’s know that “yes” $25 gas cards are avail. to your group.
And if they could email or call me rsnails@hotmail.com or service@griffithmotors.com or call 800-395-0250 if they have logistics questions and possibly to let me know how many cards I need to put in the gift bags for u guys, that would be GR8, Again---THANK YOU 4all your help on this. Next year will be a MEGA event---$500 for 1st placers, vendors for scion accessories, scion region cars and vendors, live band, food, prizes---etc…….trying to sched that 1 around august for our car races in Dallesport………but that is still TBD, take care man-thanx again-----ToYoGeArHeAd(Ron)
Ron and the dealership sound like great people, and it would be nice to meet them!! I've never heard of a dealership offering such wonderful hospitality to a car show, and it's definitely a great opportunity for us to come out!!
