Ok people so I have just gotten the go ahead to spread the word about a car show, barbecue and meet and greet at the larsons toyota dealership in tacoma. I will post directions when i get some feedback and an idea on how many people will show. Drivers can bring one guest with them. There will be food, a trophy for the best car, and i'm working on either getting a prize of a TRD product available through the dealership or doing a group buy through the dealership at manufacuters price. It would probalby have to be something universal for all the types of scions that come. So the plan is to remove all the cars in the front of the dealership and replace with them with our own on a sunny day preferably, and basically show the public what our cars are made off. This is a free event so it wont cost enter or anything, food is free and drinks as well so there is nothing to loose even if you only show for a little bit. So let me know what you think so i can let the dealership now. Thanks.

Thats the dealership behind Costco right.......that is where I got mine at.......my sales person....Eddie....knows all about the Scions and really impressed me that he knew so much about them......

They had been thinking about doing this a while back to show customers what can be done with these cars........when I took mine in for the oil change they all stopped and came out to see it.......said they don't get to many in that are anything but stock and rarely get to see a modded one up close.........

I would be all for it........I have a hard time passing up free barbeque........even if it was hotdogs.......plus it gives us one more local dealership who is in on sponsering........they are the ones who benifit from it really,but I have never seen a car company like Scion before........it is the word of mouth advertising that is selling the most cars for them.......heck I have only seen 3 comercials............

ok So seems like news is getting around pretty quick. I'll be waiting for a bit more replies first then get back to my buddy at the dealership. I'll get the go ahead for a date and then i'll set up a RSVP on another site for everyone to sign up. Also please give me any ideas on what you would like to buy if you all wanted to do a group buy. remember it has to be something that the dealership can get there hands on.
