Nothing so far, But a friend of mine called me to say they are still sending out invites. Apparently HE got one TODAY, Even though he bought his xD when they were brand new, and has never attended any type of event or meeting, and does not frequent any type of scion forums, and does not Mod his car. hmmmm..

 

i got two emails actually saying to rsvp and another saying i got in and check your email to see if your a winner....

I talked to scionvip today on the phone and heres what i found out. It's not a car show, the venue won't be able to handle it the representative said, and theres going to be 2 confirmation emails sent out soon (no date said). About 20 cars were chosen to roll in the venue around 8am to 9:30 am, and the other scions will have designated parking spots outside the venue. The e-mails will be sent letting you know if you're rolling inside, or parking outside. The people parking outside will roll in between 11am to 12pm. Unfortunately it's not a car show, and that was something i was really looking forward too

 

Not too worried about a show, heck, I'll probably be parking out in the lot, car is too stock.

Hi all,

There are some questions floating around about the Scion VIP event at the Formula Drift Round 5 this weekend, so we wanted to provide some answers on the SL forum.

As of today, we are just shy of capacity for the event. However, registration has been open and we are still accepting new registrations.

If you registered previously, you should have received your invitation email already. Many of you quickly replied with your RSVP - thank you! Those of you didn't should have already received a phone call from our staff - or at least a voicemail. If you registered and have not received any email or calls from us by now, please call us at 718 279 2202 and we will be happy to check on your registration.

Finalized confirmations with event schedules went out today - we apologize for the delay as we usually send these out a week in advance. These confirmations were delayed by the confirmation of securing a preferred parking area for Scion owners.

We are asking Scion VIP guests to arrive at 11AM. You will be able to park your Scion in a secure, Scion-only preferred parking lot located just outside of the grandstands.

We have also selected around 20 Scions to participate in a group display inside the venue adjacent to the Scion VIP lounge - these owners were selected based on modification level and have been contacted separately about the display opportunity. Those participating in the display need to arrive between 8 and 9:30AM.

Due to the space constraints of this Formula Drift event - as well as the fact that they do not conduct a separate car show, we are limited to the 20 vehicles in a non-competition display.

Lunch service in the VIP lounge begins at noon, and our official welcome happens at 12:30PM. In addition, you'll want to be there for a special VIP product giveaway.

We will paste the entire confirmation email below as we some of you with AOL or Yahoo accounts have not been able to receive our emails.

Entering its fifth season, Formula DRIFT Championship is recognized as the North American professional drifting championship series. As the first official series in North America, Formula DRIFT has taken competitive motorsports to the extreme attracting fans and car enthusiasts from all walks of life. What's in my VIP package?
As our VIP guest, your package will include the following:

Is the preferred parking lot for Scions only? Will it be staffed?
-Yes, there will be an attendant/security for the preferred Scion-only parking lot

How do I claim my VIP package?
Scion VIPs can pick up their VIP package on the day of the event. Upon arriving at Monroe Speedway, please proceed to the preferred Scion-only parking lot. Inform the parking attendant that you are a Scion VIP and give them your name. After parking, proceed to the Will Call window and indicate that you are a Scion VIP and give them your name as well as a photo ID. After receiving your tickets, proceed through the gates to the Scion VIP display area where our staff will greet and register you for the Scion VIP lounge.
