Here is the low down for the ho down
The Elephant Room at Washington Park (covered Picnic spot)is open from 3pm to 9pm on Oct 4th. The cost is $58.25 to reserve it with a $15 application fee. The question is this where we want to do it and is the price ok? Let me know soon.

If we could get a scion dealership to sponsor us it would have to be one of the ones located in this district, zip code.
Thoughts??

The two nearest dealerships are Broadway Toyota and Beaverton Toyota.
But if no dealership involvement, I think if everyone chips in like $5-$10 that would cover the reservation fees at least.

Here is a list of parks in the Portland area that have reservable picnic areas:

It might be nice to do this at a park near the rivers. Kelley Point Park and Willamette Park sound nice. I'll try to go check out Willamette Park tomorrow.

thats a great idea Kelly didn't think about that place..
(checking out their site now)
each registration also includes 2 hours of use on the softball field...
their prices aren't too bad

I looked at their site too...There are a couple of covered places that look like they would work. Also have volleyball courts to use...
Just an idea, but it is a beautiful park, right on the river...
I think it is a great idea...we could have a goodbye to summer BBQ! And, I would actually get to attend, since I have some staff now!!

Alrighty then Blue Lake Park it is on Oct 4th. Is it the same contact number as washington park? We should try and snag one of the covered locations as soon as possible. Then all we need to do is work on the list of who is bringing what.
