Gushi has new paint this year too.....this is indeed gonna be sweet, especially if Scion will sponser us again for it and it looks like they are and also gonna have cars on display again, which is cool cause then perhaps we can get Tanner to sign car too, bringing a wrench to pull hood off though just in case we dont get in......lol
foust's new drifter tc is badass, i was watching him test drive it on youtube......he was killing the track....Gushi's new paint job i dont like very well....he should have stuck with the old color i loved it...
i would like to meet tanner foust too... so i could make fun of him for stalling his car on the starting line at the INTERNATIONAL race of champions... way to go tanner. way to rep. you and your nascar buddy who stuffed his car on the first turn... i guess they can only turn left. ugh... though is that rhys millen rocking the genesis coupe? that is the *****.
and in addendum... the only reason that rockstar went with the RWD conversion is because RSR got away with murder on the way they designed the rear suspension geometry. so rockstar did it too... competitive edge ftw.

yeah really hoping he is not the only Scion driver I cannot get a autograph from......so far I am 2 for 2 and both people have gone out of their way to auto the car.......and am extremly grateful to both.......from waht I hear Rado and Leslie are the same and very cool too........so lets hope he is not a jerk.
i dont know where some of you guys get all worked up thinking tanner is a d*(k or whatever. honestly each and everytime i've met or talked him he's been very polite and nice. there's times where he's in a state of mental focus and doesn't want to be bothered, and that's normal for anyone. at sema i'm sure he's in the middle of landing and signing deals or dealing with something stressful. sema is a place of many companies and indivduals conducting business and most of the $ sponsors the drivers land most of the time happen during trade shows and thats where the negotiations happen. i'm sure he was busy with that and is focused. this past sat at formula D i went by the rig and said whats up to the whole crew and everyone despite being busy/stressed out still said hi and i talke to tanner for just a minute before tellin him ill let him get back to focusing on his task at hand and he even said thank you for understanding.
tc looks and runs great. more adjustments and seat time needed but looks like papadahkis racing has it locked =) big congrats to tanner, steph and the whole crew for taking 3rd this past weekend with a new car and very little seat time.
I don't see everyone's beef with Tanner. He's a cool guy, I had the pleasure of meeting him and Steph @ CES a few months back. By far one of the nicest FormulaD drivers I have met and a very sincere person. The thing is about talking to people at SEMA business is all that is on their minds. No bucks no trucks. When I worked in the family business I did 4 trade shows a year.. I would leave the booth and go walk around and see friends, I would get blown off, walk away if they see someone they need to talk to. That's how it is. Trade shows cost 2k or more per 10x10 pad. Sema is over 5k per 10x10, considering a car takes 10x20.. just to put a car in the booth a company has an initial investment of 10k. If you aren't there to buy stuff they don't want you there. That is what ruins trade shows. When I was working booths if someone came by the booth to get free samples and such I just blew them off, they aren't worth my time, and when someone walks up asking for free they will never buy.. SEMA is where the deals get made. Car drivers are there for meetings and have a lot riding on it. If they don't get the deal, they won't have a ride. Don't take it personal.. it's all about the time and place.
I just hope he is able to take some time to come up to the tent like Gushi did and do some Autos, that was super cool for everyone and made everyone feel like they were the most important person on the planet that day.
I know Craven and I were walkiing through the pits and one of the Hankook 240 drivers asked us if we would like to see his car,we were like uh yeah.......he tok us behind the ropes and popped the hood and talked to us about the car and racing and everything......he was really cool and his 240 was tight too......
Also the Viper driver came out and apoligised for having his picture on the poster they gave out and not a hot models picture......thought that was really cool and funny.

^great point., Sam Hubinette is one of the coolest guys ever! The point was at SEMA I saw several drivers, most as they were going in between places, and none except Tanner was standing at his car mind you, and was too busy to even look and give the "I'm busy look." We waited for 10 minutes on 2 different occasions. I realize that he was busy, but all we were hoping for was a picture or at least an "I'm sorry" smile, but all we got was the cold shoulder. I would hope that if someone at somepoint wanted to get a picture of me I would not be too busy to take <10sec. out of my day for someone who just wanted a picture of me, and had it mean something to them....just seems kinda lame as it did not seem to be a problem for anyone else we ran into.
