Im gonna post a blog on our page about doing a mini road trip to sacramento to meet the socal girls. Evelyn wants to meet up with us halfway, and halfway is sacramento, yikes! im down to do it but i dont wanna be the only one!

yeah okay, i could probably swing a road trip. That would be so awesome. Maybe we can try before july? maybe like... hmm... may. yeah.

is there an estimated date for the travel and how long is the drive ??? man o man, my poor TC, first driving from texas to here and now to sacramento ...

 

I lived in Sac and still have family there and have done the drive many times over the last six years since I moved up here from Cali. I would say Sac is not half way between SoCal and Federal Way. I have driven from Sacramento to Los Angeles in 6 hours 8 if you go the posted speed limit but no one in Cali does that. I5 is flat and strait not many curves to worry about.

Federal Way to Sacramento is about 10 hours if you go 75-90 in the NorCal area otherwise it can take 12 hours easy. Southern Oragen is very curvy and can be fun but there are parts where you will be going 45 mph on I5 and unless you have a deth wish I would not do much more than that. There are areas where I5 is one lane and you get to enjoy driving in cunstruction zones.

I just did the drive from Sacramento to Auburn about a month ago. I would suggest meating up in Redding as a half way point. If you go play on Mapqwest you will see that Redding is about the half way point 573 miles from Federal Way to Redding and 546 miles from Los Angeles to Redding.

 

I'm up for it,.. but I'll need funds,.. roar!! I need to save money for prom. gRr.

 

Thanks Mo for the info. Redding probably is exciting, but wouldn't sac and SF be more exciting? Stuff to do yanno? I've never spent much time in redding, so i dunno.

i think maybe we could pull off some bake sales, car wash maybe, and some other things to save moneyand spend it as hotel money (we'd all have to share a room!) and gas money.

I'm so up for it... my girlfriend from california is gonna fly up and hang out with us if we go.

Cool! 15hrs mo? I dunno. When my hubby and I drove down to San Diego, it took 10hrs to get to Sac hence me saying lets meet in sacramento. I dunno how fast he was going tho so you might be right lol. It'll still be fun!

As far as all of us driving goes, we could probably carpool with each other. So if anyone doesnt wanna take their car, they could ride with me if they want or whoever else! A SoCal girl mentioned meeting around the time that there's a car show, so we could drive down there, hang out, then be in the car show together the next day! Im down for anything!

Lets have a meet to talk about this and how to raise money. Anyone up for an April 1st meet?

 

i can't make one this weekend, but maybe the weekend after that. A car show would be fun, how many of the socal girls are interested? it'd be fun for all of us to take our own cars, but i understand not wanting to put so many miles on our cars.

 

I don't mind meeting up April 1st, but I have class until about 6 or 7, so anytime after that is fine. Just let me know.

 

if u cant make it thas cool, we'll just sum it up for u in an email or something

after 6 is cool with me. just gotta pick a location and stuff.

 

how about somewhere closer to me. haha. since class is in olympia, i don't wanna make that drive to southcenter ... so ummm yeah.
