unless it's event coverage, it's not going to be in all those magazines. Especially both Super Street and Import Tuner. It's an industry thing, you won't see a car featured in more than one magazine...unless it's an industry car (Tein xB, etc.).

And honestly, I can't see it being a feature car at all. No disrespect, cause I don't care what people do to their cars. But I just know the selection process that alot of magazines use. The paint isn't enough. Granted, can't see the interior or the engine work.

Anyway...I just wanted to comment about the magazines.

For the most part I don't think it's a bad looking car. I don't like how the front grille/bumber meets together (where the billet thing is). Otherwise I would have to see the rest of the car, inside and out, to get a better judgement on it

 

Just because I don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't score well on some standardized judging criteria. Paint looks cool but the bump/grill thing is hideous.

 

Our president in our club was on the MiniTruckin cover for the March 06 issue, cover of Steetsourcemag.com in Jan 06. Featured in Tailgate magazine 2 years back.

Mainly you won't see it in more than 1 mag, because, Primedia is one of the biggest distrubtioners who own a lot of em out there.

 

Also, now coming from a club that has thrown shows for the past 12 years, going on 13, being my 4th show i've worked. I can tell ya what we look at in our judging. Mostly, its all about personal opinon. EVEN if you don't like the car, truck, or person, we ARE fair to the showers. We judge them on the originality, cleanliness, detail, etc.

Say I hate The Foth, he has showed at the last shows, i hate him so much, I still give him 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place based on the points given on his car. Even if its an ugly body kit, if its done right, looks clean, painted nicely, its worth good points. However, if Brian pays me off, i will make sure he doesn't get anything next year :-P

Anyways, its all about personal taste and you are all jealous that cars you hate get features, haha I joke.

 

I'd have to say there is a lot in the presentation of the car. I've seen yours,
and it is very nice, but can you make it stick out from the crowd. Give them
something to remember.

hey nat...didn't think i'd find this did ya......well sense you seem to think my celi is sh*t and im lieing about the mags...try this on for size.....these are from street trenz, the mag that will have the pics in their march edition oh and the others are from other site...and wait their will be more to come!
