So who is working on anything new.........
Umm... laundry list of stuff today...
Bought 2 more jack stands, craftsman 2.25ton
Stoptech stainless steel brakelines F+R on my car.
Brake Fluid Flush with Motul RBF 600.
These two things took forever but we didn't have anything unexpected besides some bolts that were too short in OEM form to hold the new brake lines in place, mention that below..
Power Steering Flush on my car, stuff was nasty..
Oil change on a 97 Honda Passpo.. I mean Isuzu.
Sub, wiring, amp, mounting, blah blah install in a 2001 Civic.
Got a 2x6~ish cut up into 6, 1-ft~ish parts with a stubby end for use as blocks for the car, lifting and driving up on, and jacking up, etc..
Got a big 5-gal bucket with cap for storing oil and stuff when I don't wanna drive right to schmucks to empty my bottles..
Also had to match the bolts for the strut tower that hold the brake line in place at Lowe's to a longer one because the OEM ones didn't fit and I didn't want to stick with zip ties through that hole, and replaced the zip ties with those when I got home while the stereo install was getting started up in the civic.
All of this in my garage from 3pm till now. Been a long day, phew. And tomorrow we install fog lights in the front of that 2001 Civic starting around 11 something, on his though we have to cut a template out of the front bumper from behind and then run the harness through and the put the lights in.. ugh, that's gonna be a while too.
Hopefully sometime tomorrow my dad and I get to head to Sears to do some tool shopping, silly me doesn't own an air compressor, and he said he'd spring for it cause he loves checking his tire pressure all the time. Also I need to check that the piggyback ECU on his car is still getting power, cause it doesn't feel as quick as it does usually, maybe I'm just used to it now though.

A air compressor is my next tool purchase at sears as well - i can't wait!
as for me, nothing is new lol - i may put my other wheels on in a couple weeks & put the body kit back on, but that's about it lol
oh wait, soon i may have new headlights as well

Oh yeah, Josh was over all day providing moral support and allowing us another car to use in case we needed to gather supplies we might have been missing.

He might have also once told me I was tightening instead of loosening and that I didn't have my jack bled correctly.

And we finished the fog light install, it's incredibly hard on the 2001 civic, because it's not pre-wired like tC's are and you have to dremel/cut the bumper to fit the bulb into the side of the lower "grill" which is actually part of the whole bumper itself..
Also just like Shawn, I'm also purchasing an air compressor very soon, it has come in handy many times these past few days and air tools just seem like lots of fun!

Yeah, another XXX meet! Gonna be even crazier I suspect. More organized I hope.
I've been modding my Avic software the past few days with help from Avic411, got it updated to 3.020220 and with the mid-2009 maps (latest) as well as with speed/red-light camera warnings and a whole new theme from what I was using, I love this thing, so much you can do with it.

HID Special $60 Shipped for Scionlife members
Sold those H-techs of mine to Bdawg933 (Brandon), talked to him for a while too, cool dude, wish he'd come around more often but he explained to me why he never really can.
Offered to help with the install if he needs a place and when he gets around to it.
Also looking for a job, and to move out within 4-6 weeks with 2 friends of mine, also going to Griots and USCutters tomorrow to gather misc. cleaning supplies (dad dropped my nice microfiber wash mits on our driveway...) and gold metallic vinyl and a color matched one if possible to FM.

thinking about buying these without the chrome lip....the green was photoshopped on (thanks CJ)...since the colored part is an insert it will be closer to the color i have now....what do you think?

can't wait to install...
