The kami latches are the same as stock except on my old hood which Erik now has,they put the wrong latch on it and we had to modify the mounting point on the car lower to accept the longer latch they put on.

its actually a very good modification for the hood... i remember it on your car. and i remember tyler using it as well. 2 cars says its good work.

they were gonna send me the right latch but it was gonna take a week and I already had the hood on,old one off,it was dark,wife was cranky,starting to rain,and I said ok time to modify it.....
It was simple to do,the latch receiver on the car needs moved down a little using shims that go from the stock holesdown like 2" and then the receiver mounts to that and then you cut a piece out the radiator support bracket to allow the latch to sit and then drill new hole in bracket to bolt in new bolt.
Best part is it was reversable and transferable from car to car with minor cutting of new car to allow their latch to mount.
What I liked was the latch now sat lower and out the way more.

Paid all my bills........paid off one credit card.....bought midpipe....and still gots $234.92 left.......hmmmmmm food or more parts......I can always make another notch in the belt,I am on my 3rd now in 2 years.....lol
