I figured someone would jump on that...the "shaft" that is...

 

lol belive it or not the heat has no effect on the shaft, its the pulley side that tends to go bad, and thats because the metal is very soft and the bearings tend to slip and wear down the metal. im waiting on a new shaft that gomkpa is making.

 

as soon as that is out and tested i will consider FI

 

gompka already has one on his car, when he got his done and tested he took orders, the shop he got his done at started getting a little unstable about it and wanted to know what they were for and for what model, he said it sounded like they wanted to start selling them and they wanted to jack up the prices and so he took the drawings and went to a different shop and now we should have them in a couple weeks. another problem with the shaft is that is was not balanced, so when u started making these he also got them balanced, so u can now get a new shaft and new ceramic bearings and seals and have nothen to worrie about

 

Well today I got confirmation on my Radiator hoses from Samco......6 weeks till they arrive,which is fine as it is rainy and cold till then.......it also did not help I gave them the wrong zip code,and wrong house address,seems talking on phone,while drinking,while ordering parts makes for mistakes typing.....lol

The good news is the Sparco Ebrake is onthe way......from Europe.......seems Sparco is not selling them right now or something so I had to goto Europe retailer to get it.

I discovered I have Fiberglass resin,so I can start my door panels,and also discovered I have black handles on them so they are gonna go in the car instead of the 08 grey door handles......

Now this summer I need a painter or the cahones to start painting my self again after 18 years not doing it.......lol

 

Hey brian...is that the place where i could possibly get pink radiator hoses for jenn?

LOL its only been just over six months, ha ha. And in their defense christmas and thanks giving was in there. So it really only took them 5 months and 3 weeks.

 

probably 4 months shorter than my painter will take to paint 7 pieces....lol

 

Might check samco's website, they make all sorts of funky colors and now designs!

As far as what I have been up to. This week is finals week, and I have put in 30+ hrs of studying, by the end of the week it'll be up to ~40 hrs. Hope it all pays off! Math, Physics, and Engineering Statics; fun stuff!

im getting my butt whooped too... math, bio, juvenile justice, and philosophy... now thats fun stuff.. lol
